Wouldnt it just be so funny if the emergency happened right about the time of the elections? The Internet was filtered/shut down conveniently about the time of voting and we had no clue who really won the elections. The Day to day media is already in their pocket. Listening to the Presidents speeches gives people thrills running up their legs. Sycophants.

I'm sure they will come up with some kind of "Internet Attack" story, and tell us they are shutting down the Internet for our safety. As to the voters who are waking up and are ready to cast out the incumbents, it looks like the Obama regime has made it clear that voter intimidation is just fine by them, so I think we can expect to see a lot more of that at polling places in November. A voter intimidation case involving two Black Panther operatives in Philadelphia during the 2008 elections has been dismissed by the Department of Justice at Attorney General Eric Holder's request. The case had already been prosecuted and won by the DOJ, and was ready for sentencing. Letting these thugs off is an outrage. I think that everyone is now well aware of the BP oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. What has been much less reported on is the all-out effort by BP, the federal government, Homeland Security, and local law enforcement - working together in concert - to obscure the facts of the matter from media representatives and the public. As a recent article in Newsweek magazine stated,

"As BP makes its latest attempt to plug its gushing oil well, news photographers are complaining that their efforts to document the slow-motion disaster in the Gulf of Mexico are being thwarted by local and federal officials -- working with BP -- who are blocking access to the sites where the effects of the spill are most visible. More than a month into the disaster, a host of anecdotal evidence is emerging from reporters, photographers, and TV crews in which BP and Coast Guard officials explicitly target members of the media, restricting and denying them access to oil-covered beaches, staging areas for clean-up efforts, and even flyovers."

It appears that reporters in the mainstream media are beginning to wake up to the fact that the Gulf Coast area has become a facist police state, where US citizens no longer have the freedom and rights guaranteed to them in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Fox is running a poll about whether the flag should be banned in schools in order not to inflame Hispanic students. The poll is in reaction to a Texas high school taking down an American flag that was displayed inside the school during Cinco De Mayo, as school authorities felt that its presence would be objectionable to Hispanic students. The poll is being sandbagged by SEIU and we should mount a counter action if you agree that the flag should be taken down for no one.


Moveon.org, Organizing for America, and SEIU have been twittering today to go to Fox Poll and vote to ban the Flag .... and right now it is working. Something like 34% of polltakers have voted to ban the flag!

According to an Associated press article released yesterday, 9 states have stepped up to show their support for Arizona in the federal case that the Obama regime recently launched. Way to go!

"DETROIT – Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox has filed a legal brief on behalf of nine states supporting Arizona's immigration law.
The Republican gubernatorial candidate said Wednesday that Michigan is the lead state backing Arizona in federal court. Michigan is joined by Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Virginia, as well as the Northern Mariana Islands.

Posts #781 and 782 mentioned the legislative effort currently underway to repeal ObamaCare. At that time, 109 House members had signed on - exactly half the number required to overturn ObamaCare. Now there are 133 who support repeal, and we will probably see this number growing in the weeks to come, since most Congress persons realize that failing to at least sign on in support of repeal will amount to an act of political suicide in November. A recent poll by the Obama-friendly CNN revealed 56 percent of the public disapproves of the law, and other polls show this number even higher.

Through the discharge-petition process in the House, if a majority of members sign on, Pelosi cannot stop it from moving forward. It still would need to be moved through the Senate and the Oval Office, and quite likely require an override of an Obama veto.

The danger, of course, is that many will sign on now, but will later vote to kill the effort, much the same as happened with the "Audit the Fed Bill." Audit the Fed had widespread support in the House, but not so in the Senate, and when the Senate amended the recent "Financial Reform" bill to kill Audit the Fed (and to actually expand the powers of the Federal Reserve), it went back to the House where many who formerly supported Audit the Fed were seen to change their minds. As a matter of fact, both my senators (Snowe and Collins) and my House representative (Michaud) voted to allow scuttling of Audit the Fed. As you might imagine, I contacted each of their offices before the vote and made it clear that I would vote to remove them from office if Audit the Fed was struck down or weakened in any way. In November I will definitely be following through on that promise.

Passage by Congress of the national health care legislation has had an unintended consequence to the nation’s coin collectors, vest-pocket dealers who buy and sell coins, and larger dealers who are frequent buyers of coins that collectors periodically liquidate as they trade up their collections for better coins, or simply sell to take a small profit or loss.

What has happened is that effective Jan. 1, 2012, the whole system of giving and receiving Internal Revenue Service 1099 forms will be turned on its head and all persons (including corporations) who are in business will now have to give 1099 tax reporting forms for coins and other goods that they sell as well as buy.

The responsibility for issuing forms kicks in at $600 for coins or bullion – not a very high level and one that has already started sounding alarm bells. It doesn’t matter in what form payment is made, whether cash, check, credit card, or Yap stone money, the $600 threshold applies.

The republicans and the democrats knew this was coming for a long time as so did I,Since I was once self employed and filled out many of 1099 forms. Now you have a bunch of politicians using it as a "LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO YOU NOW" when they where part of its making for years.
