7 states act to nullify ObamaCare

Thomas Jefferson advised, "Whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers ... a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy."

Seven states have already introduced acts to nullify ObamaCare, including New Hampshire, Maine, Montana, Oregon, Nebraska, Texas, and Wyoming, and a similar proposal is expected to be filed in Idaho within a matter of days. If you live in one of these states, be sure to congratulate your legislators for introducing the act, and send e-mails to your representatives asking them to take swift action to pass this legislation. If you live in a state not mentioned, contact your representatives and demand that they introduce similar legislation.

These actions may be the only effective means of actually repealing ObamaCare. While the US House did vote to repeal, the measure still has to pass the Senate (which doesn't appear likely) and will then face a certain veto by Obama. After that, the best the House can do is vote to defund ObamaCare, but the law would still stand.

ObamaCare is unconstitutional, according to the 10th Amendment, and the Tenth Amendment Center, which advocates a return to the constitutionally delegated powers for the federal government, says that,
"When states pass laws to reject and nullify unconstitutional federal 'laws,' regulations, and mandates, – it's not rebellion ... it's duty."

In June of 2010 I reported in post #740 of this thread that Tim Adams, a senior Honolulu election official during the 2008 presidential election, had stated that there was no record of Obama being born in Hawaii. As of January 20th of 2011, Adams has gone a step further and has signed a sworn affidavit stating this, and attesting to the fact that his superiors, as well as government officials, were well aware of Obama's non-existant long form birth certificate.

Hawaii governor Abercrombie admits that search for Obama's birth document was futile

In another new development regarding the search for Obama's long form birth certificate, and during an interview on the KQRS morning radio show on January 20, Mike Evans, a long-time friend of Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie, shared a conversation he had with the governor the day prior.

Evans, Honolulu born and now a Hollywood-based celebrity journalist, claimed that Abercrombie had promised him that when he became governor he planned to find absolute proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.

When Evans spoke to Abercrombie on January 19, Abercrombie reportedly told him that he searched the relevant Hawaii hospitals using his powers as governor, and concluded, according to Evans, "There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii." After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has "got some egg in the face."

Curiously too, when Evans asked Abercrombie when he first encountered the young Barack Obama, Abercrombie reportedly said, "I remember him playing in a T-Ball league," when he was roughly five or six years old.

Those familiar with earlier statements made by Abercrombie may recall that Abercrombie had told the Los Angeles Times just before Christmas, "Maybe I'm the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, I was here when that baby [Obama] was born."

That's correct, and here are the facts on B.O.'s mother:

Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, was born in WichitaKansas on November 29, 1942. Therefore, she was 18 years of age when she gave birth to B.O. on August 4, 1961. This does not adhere to the "five of the years after the age of 14" rule for conferring US citizenship status upon Barry if born outside the US. In any case, though, whether or not B.O. was born abroad or in Hawaii as he claims (but hasn't proven) he is still ineligible for President Of The United States (POTUS) because he is not a "natural born citizen." If his mother had been a year older, and Barry was born in Kenya, she could have legally conferred US citizenship upon Barry, but that would not have qualified him as being a "natural born citizen." A natural born citizen is one who requires no man made law or act to designate his citizenship. A natural born citizen is a person born to parents who are both citizens of a country, and receives this status under Natural Law. Therefore, if born in Hawaii then Barry would be a citizen under man made rules of law, but because of his Kenyan father would not be eligible for "natural born citizen" status or to run for or hold office of POTUS.

Maine's presidential eligibility requirement

I was pleased to discover that Maine, the state where I live, has enacted a proof of citizenship requirement for primary election candidates, and is among a list of 10 states now either having or considering such laws. Here is what Maine's LD34 states:

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §334,

as amended by PL 2009, c. 253, §16, is further amended to read:

§ 334.Qualification of candidate for primary nomination:

A candidate for nomination by primary election shall show proof of United States citizenship in the form of a certified copy of the candidate's birth certificate and the candidate's driver's license or other government-issued identification to the Secretary of State.

While this is great, I have contacted Maine's newly elected governor LePage to request that the new law be beefed up by adding wording that leaves no room for any vague interpretations of the law. Specifically, the law should require a long form birth certificate as the only acceptable valid documentation of US birth, and like the proposed Arizona law, a Presidential candidate should be required to document that he or she meets all eligibility requirements established under the US Constitution, and must prove that he or she is a "natural born citizen." Another very important consideration is that the law should state that any registered voter who challenges a candidate's eligibility to be listed on a ballot automatically is granted legal standing to do so, and that no candidate shall be listed until any such challenge is properly resolved.

I'm waiting for a response from the governor's office on these matters, and remaining hopeful that his response will be favorable. The 2010 elections placed the Maine legislature in Republican hands for the first time in 27 years, so the chances of amending this election law to make it hold steadfast against any attempt by Obama to get around it seems quite positive.

Thanks, Ash. I'm fairly certain that quote of Rockefeller has been posted here at least once or twice before, but it has been awhile so it is good to have this as a reminder that the New World Order is not just a conspiracy theory. It is very real, and has been in the works for a very long time. Much of the NWO agenda has already been accomplished, and it seems that the elitists are racing to complete the finishing acts. Every single piece of legislation in the US Congress, and in the United Nations, in the past couple of years, although shrouded in benevolent sounding names, has amounted to increased governmental powers and loss of individual rights and freedoms. Obama's State Of The Union speech proved that he is firmly committed to bigger government and more runaway spending. I hope that no one is fooled by his proposal to "freeze" spending levels for the next five years. That would only result in total destruction of the US economy. As responsible individuals, we can certainly see the folly of using newly borrowed money to simply pay the interest on previously borrowed money, and that is exactly what our government is doing. And it's not just the US. Nearly every country in the world is doing the same thing, and it simply is not sustainable.
