While I believe that Obama was not born in Hawaii, there is nothing that can be done in light of a State of Hawaii issued BC. The problem is that it's an official document and the legality of throwing it out would upset a lot of apple carts.

At the time Obama was born (and today as well) there were still a lot of births that occurred at home and without doctors present. As such, nearly all states had an "honor" system for documenting a child's birth and applying for a birth certificate. If you question and/or throw out Obama's BC on the basis that there are no hospital records you will set a precedent whereby all certificates granted for non-hospital births are to be suspect as well.

In all likelihood, Obama's maternal grandparents who were residents of Hawaii at the time and relatively well-to-do, made sure to file the necessary paperwork to insure that B.H.Obama would be documented as a U.S. citizen born in Hawaii even though he likely wasn't. In their defense, they were likely just doing their best to protect their grandchild from the youthful mistakes of his rebellious mother. Nevertheless, a record of birth lacking in details (details they couldn't provide and still have him be considered a natural-born U.S. citizen) was granted for him and unless they are going to open up Pandora's box, will stand. Being that those who would have committed perjury by claiming to have witnessed the birth in Hawaii are no longer living, there's nothing that can likely be done.

The real goal is to remove all the corrupt politicians and scaliwags who are not serving the best interests of our country, and who show a contemptuous disregard for our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We can remove and replace many of these Ruling Class conspirators in the 2010 election, which is our earliest opportunity, but the President is elected to a four year term, which means that either we wait until 2012 to oust him, or find a way to accomplish that sooner by legal means. The ineligibility cases which have been brought against Obama (actual name Soetoro) are the best hope for accomplishing that, and several independent court actions are still pending in that regard. So far it has been a tough battle with the courts, and the question may very well end up with the Supreme Court. If and when it does, I think the Pres may be in for a rough ride, considering his open bashing of them during the State of the Union address. Rightfully, the Supreme Court should rule against Soetoro/Obama's Constitutional eligibility, and that would of course negate the results of the 2008 election. Neither candidate in 2008 was eligible as a "natural born United States Citizen," which means that a new election with new candidates would be called for. If a five year old child must produce a valid birth certificate in order to prove his eligibility to attend public school, shouldn't a candidate for the US Presidency be required to show proof of his eligibility to run for, and be seated in that office? By the time all of this gets settled, it may very well already be time for the 2012 election, so you may think it is not important to pursue this now. The fact remains, though, that the Ruling Class foisted this unconstitutional election upon us, in which we truly had no choice of a viable candidate to vote for, and that cannot be allowed to stand, or to be repeated in 2012. So the eligibility question is definitely of crucial importance, and one that we should explore with due diligence. It is right to say that we should not let ourselves divert all of our attention to the eligibility question, and become apathetic towards the 2010 objectives that deserve our focus and efforts. I fully agree, and I believe that so far we have given proper emphasis to many aspects of the Ruling Class agenda, reporting on a wide variety of important topics which affect all of us. Of all the cruel and abusive hoaxes that the Ruling Class has foisted upon us, it is hard to say which has been the most vile, but this one is right up there, at or near the top, to be sure.

You are missing the actual points that really matter. Here's what really counts:

• The Hawaiian document is only a "certification of live birth," which is something easily obtained no matter where the child was actually born. It offers no substantive proof of anything. You can see the alleged document at this site: http://www.theobamafile.com/_exhibits/FightTheSmearsCOLBHTML.htm Note that the "certificate number" is blacked out. Notice also that, unlike a legal long-form birth certificate, such as you or I would possess, there is no attending physician, nurse, or midwife's statement, nor any other witness statement attesting to the actual time or location of Barack's birth. The "official" claim is that Barack was born in a hospital in Hawaii, and two different hospitals have been cited. While it is possible that the attending physician may no longer be alive, it is doubtful that all persons witnessing the birth, or employed on the obstetrics ward at that time, would now all be dead. That was only 41 years ago, and yet no one has stepped forward to claim they are an actual witness to Barack's birth or stay in a Hawaiian hospital. The only credible witness so far, concerning Barack's birth, is the paternal grandmother, who claims she was present when Barack was born - in Kenya.
• Even if Barack actually was born in Hawaii, as claimed, this only qualifies him as a "native born" American, meaning born in the USA, and nothing else. Even a child of illegal immigrants, who is documented as born in the United States, can make this claim. A "natural born" US citizen, however, must not only be born in the USA, but have been born to parents who are both US citzens. Barack fails this crucial test, which is what the Constitution requires as Presidential eligibility. Have a look at the chart shown in post #342 (http://www.energeticforum.com/81930-post342.html), and you will have a better understanding of this aspect. In fact, the official Obama website set up to counter the birth certificate dispute makes only the claim that, "Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America." http://www.theobamafile.com/_exhibit...rsCOLBHTML.htm Have another look at that site. They choose their words carefully. There is no claim to "natural born" citizenship. It's just that they expect most people will not understand that there is a huge difference between these defining terms.
• Barack's natural father was Kenyan, and a British subject at the time of Barack's birth. That would have made Barack a person of dual citizenship status, something frowned upon by the framers of the Constitution. The founders did not want any person with split loyalties to become President, and with good reason, quite obviously. That is why they insisted that only a natural born citizen, having loyalty only to the United States, could become President in all future generations.
• If, in fact, Barack jr was actually born in Kenya, as the Kenyans claim, then he would have been a Kenyan citizen with no rights to claim USA citizenship. Barack's mother was too young at the time of his birth to confer US citizenship status on him under existing US law. He could only have become a naturalized US citizen through the standard immigration procedures, and a 'naturalized" citizen is not a "natural born" citizen. It is an entirely different status.
• Barack's mother, Ann Dunham, divorced Barack Obama senior when she found out he was already married to a Kenyan woman. She then married an Indonesian citizen named Lolo Soetoro, and Barry then went to Indonesia. Soetoro adopted Barack and his adopted name officially became "Barry Soetoro." To attend school in Indonesia, Barry had to prove his Indonesian citizenship status, as only Indonesian citizens were allowed to attend schools there. Documents showing his name and enrollment status there have in fact been obtained, which also show his legal father as being Mr Lolo Soetoro.
• When Barry Soetoro became an Indonesian citizen, he lost his US citizenship, if in fact he ever had it to begin with. That's because the Indonesian government did not at that time allow dual citizenship status. So his parents would have forfeited that right to US citizenship. Barry, having been a young child at the time, could have later renounced his claim to Indonesian citizenship and filed with the US government to reclaim his US native born citizenship status, but there are no immigration records showing that he ever did so. It is thought that when Barry returned to Hawaii with his mother, when she filed for divorce from Soetoro, that Ann simply showed immigration officials his Hawaiian certificate of live birth. She never filed with immigration to have Barry properly restated as a US citizen, and neither has Barry done that during his adult life. In fact, Barry Soetoro reaffirmed his Indonesian citizenship when he later obtained an Indonesian passport so that he could travel from the USA to Indonesia and Pakistan, as Pakistan was a destination that someone bearing a US passport could not legally visit. To obtain that Indonesian passport, Barry had to reaffirm his Indonesian citizenship, and swear allegiance to that country. Therefore, Barry is still legally Barry Soetoro, and an Indonesian citizen.

So you see, Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Obama, has no possible legitimate claim to eligibility as President of the United States. And that is precisely why he he has spent close to 2 million dollars already to purposely hide all relevant documentation that would certainly negate his claim to eligibility if disclosed. Is it really asking too much when we ask him to show the proof of his eligibility? When Barry decided to run for President, the burden of proof of eligibility became his, and he should gladly and wilfully accept that responsibility rather that hiding behind a team of lawyers and obscuring every effort to produce documentation. For heaven's sake, even a person applying to work as a janitor at the White House would have all of his documentation and records thoroughly checked and scrutinized. Is the position of President of the United States less important than that of a janitor? His full documentation and records should be an open book to all Americans, and we are right to demand that.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

My hypothesis is that we came to this as a result of our consciousness growing up. We were bombarded with learning about great men and women of the past. Other extremes being that of the diety of God and his prophets being so good and pleasing to the Ultimate whatever .
It takes a while to catch up with this.
Why do we place men and women above their ideas?
For example, why so much emphasis on the genius of Einstein when you cannot explain what relativity means? Or praise the great forefathers of this country and not know anything about the Continental Congress?

First off, I do not think having an activist court is a good idea for all obvious reasons. By the way, doesn't anybody see how we are already in a dictatorship? I may be wrong here, I am still brushing up on my early U.S history, but shouldn't Congress be the ones to write the laws and the president can either veto it or sign it but does not come up with agendas of his own? The Congress of the U.S should not mobilize toward an issue just because the President said so.
I think the eligibility question just takes up too much energy. Even if we are right and successful we are still left with the Office of the President of the United States being a puppet post for the powers that be. Thats just me.

"Activist court?" The Supreme Court does not initiate cases and then force decisions upon us based on their activist ideas. They can only decide on a case that is brought before them on appeal, after lower court decisions have been made, and they can only base their decisions on Constitutional principles and current law. Congress writes and passes laws, and the Supreme Court makes decisions based on those laws, except when a law is found to not be in accord with the Constitution.

Hammering away at Obama's eligibility is just one more tool that we can use and support in our quest to take our nation back from the oppresive Ruling Class. It doesn't require very much from us, other than informing people of the facts in order to raise public awareness of the actual issues that are involved. Our President is not only a Ruling Class puppet, but an impostor as well. Yes, the Ruling Class will try their best to make certain that all Presidents will be their puppets and work to foist their agenda upon us, but it doesn't have to be that way if people will wake up and stop reelecting representatives. We need to kick them all out, and then keep kicking the new ones out at the earliest opportunity so that none have time to join the "good ole boys" club of corrupt career politicians.

This letter, from a woman in Arizona, was read on the Glen Beck show. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

Two, the STIMULUS bill I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you No, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.


Three: Czars. I want the circumvention of our Constitutional checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution, and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There are many conflicting opinions and it is too soon for this radical legislation. Quit throwing our nation into politically-correct quicksand.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision that will burden me, my children, and grandchildren. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night without even reading it. Slow down! Fix only what is broken -- we have the best health care system in the world -- and test any new program in one or two states first.

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. More is not better! Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real [Constitutional] obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes -- how did they pull that one off? Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with any of our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello! Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs -- and that is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person! Why do you want me to hate my employers? And what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Every company must sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. (Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid?) We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk.. Please stop trying to manipulate and appease me with clever wording.. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.


Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from nonpoliticians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist.. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent.. I work. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at yourarrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children? We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is needless urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending of our tax dollars.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on bringing our concerns to Washington . Our President often knows all the right buzzwords, like 'unsustainable.' Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us, and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented.. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone... and we are now looking at you.

You have awakened us, the patriotic freedom spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office.

We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian. Understand this.. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them, because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent?

Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming!
