Does it include federal compulsion of broadcasters to air politically-correct twaddle for "The Children"? Does it include the Orwellian "Communications Decency Act"? Organizers of the event say the event is focused on the following Call To Action:

• We CALL upon every member of federal, state and local government, legislative, judicial, law enforcement and military, who have taken an oath to protect and defend the constitutional republic from all enemies, foreign and domestic, to act upon those oaths for the stated purpose of restoring the constitutional republic.

• We CALL upon ALL veterans and veteran organizations in America, who still believe in their oath to protect and defend, to unite with us at once – in this Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic.

• We CALL for ALL citizens who still desire freedom and liberty, to stand with us in peaceful protest, and carry our demands to right the wrongs against our nation in the preservation of freedom, liberty, justice and the rule of law.

Jack Abramoff writes bombshell autobiography

You may remember that Jack Abramoff was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to six years in federal prison on charges of mail fraud and conspiracy in connection with his lobbying activities on Capitol Hill. The most notorious, perhaps, of all lobbyists, he was the subject of portrayal in two major motion pictures - the documentary Casino Jack and the United States of Money, released in May 2010, and the feature film Casino Jack, released on December 17, 2010, starring Kevin Spacey as Abramoff.

The investigation that led to Abramoff's conviction also led to the conviction of White House officials J. Steven Griles and David Safavian, U.S. Representative Bob Ney, and nine other lobbyists and Congressional aides.

Abramoff was released from prison in May of 2010, and has written a book titled, "Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America's Most Notorious Lobbyist," which is due to hit bookshop shelves next Monday. Those who have seen a sneak peek preview of the book say it is is clearly the most devastating attack on special interest power in decades. While we already have a pretty good idea of the sort of corruption that goes on between lobbyists and politicians, nearly all of this back door diplomacy goes on unseen and unheard. When much of this dirty dealing is exposed, I suspect that a great many political futures will be on the line, and that is a good thing. It is way past time that all these scoundrels are booted out of office.
