    • Jesse Ventura loses bid to halt airport searches
      Updated: November 3, 2011

But a judge ruled on Thursday that the former Minnesota governor's concerns about modesty, personal freedom and constitutional rights were misplaced when he filed a federal lawsuit in St. Paul last January.

Challenges to the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) procedures must be brought in Circuit Courts of Appeals, wrote U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson in dismissing Ventura's lawsuit.

Jesse Ventura Loses TSA Lawsuit, Threatens To Run For President And/Or Flee To Mexico
      by Frances Martel | 9:00 am, November 5th, 2011

Railing against the “Fascist States of America,” the former Minnesota governor insisted he will “never stand for a national anthem again” and vowed to apply for Mexican citizenship. Ventura also noted he was “thinking about” running for President.

The court struck down the lawsuit because of a jurisdiction issue, and Ventura was told to petition once again elsewhere. He did not seem interested in reapplying or appealing the suit, asking the press during his public statements: “Well my question is if the federal courts don’t have jurisdiction over a constitutional question then who the hell does?”

        • An interesting new candidate joins the race

Another woman has now jumped in as a candidate for President, and no - it is not Sarah Palin. Her name is Laurie Roth, from Washington state, and she is running on the American Independent Party ticket. There are several interesting things to note about Laurie:
          • She is not a politician, and has never held public office.
          • She hosts a nationally syndicated radio talk show, and is called the "Annie Oakley of the airwaves." You can listen to her radio show from 6 to 9PM Eastern or 3 to 6PM Pacific time.
          • She has written a book titled, "The People's President," to outline her stances on matters of importance.
          • She is intelligent, and holds a Ph.D
          • She is a singer/songwriter with five CD albums to her credit, with one track landing her on Billboard's top 40 and on the cover of Cash Box Magazine.
          • She holds a black belt in Tae Kwan Do.
Interesting, don't you think? Here's an intelligent and successful woman who can hold her own in a conversation or debate, and who can also literally kick butt when necessary. Not only that, Laurie is not afraid to tell it like it is, speaking out against B.O.'s constitutional ineligibility and forged birth documentation, the corrupt Federal Reserve and IRS taxation systems, and the forces manipulating 'Occupy Wall Street' and other worldwide protest movements.

            • This document makes it possible to understand how international law and justice works, but mostly how its basic principles can be bypassed. The resolutions passed against Lybia are based on various allegations :

Soliman Bouchuiguir, former president of the Libyan League for Human Rights with symbiotic ties to the National Transitional Council, generated the pack of lies that justified NATO's war allegedly to protect the Libyan population. He is currently the new Libyan ambassador to Switzerland.

The goals are achieved with political, economic and information instruments, Lukashenko said. “Information attacks are integral elements. They destabilize countries and incite public protests. Then commando forces get involved. They complete the defeat of a country under the camouflage of public protests and jointly with the ‘fifth column’. The Arab revolutions and the destruction of Libya as a sovereign state are illustrative examples,” he said.

Yes, but why go with the status quo when that needn't be the case? Laurie Roth is definitely a good looking woman, and if looks alone were the qualifying factor for voters then she would probably win by a landslide against her opponents. But while I am sure that there probably are many who would vote based upon looks, Laurie has a lot more going for her than that. It is refreshing to see that there is an alternative non-politician, non-establishment candidate who isn't afraid to speak out on the issues that really matter, rather than what appeals to the mainstream media. Don't expect to see this lady getting attention on media coverage of the Corporation U.S. national election candidates, but I suspect she will generate a lot of interest and support through the Internet as people learn that there is in fact a viable alternative candidate. I wonder who would be her choice as VP running mate .... perhaps Jessie Ventura? Hmmmm...

                • In post #2217 I told the story about Jack Abramoff and his new book exposing the corruption of Capitol Hill lobbyists. Now Leslie Stahl, of the 60 Minutes TV documentary series, has interviewed Abramoff, and a video of a portion of that interview can be seen here. In the interview, Abramoff tells how he earned $20 million per year from his lobbying efforts, how he offered free dining to Congresspersons at his lavish restaurant, spent $1 million per year to give Congresspersons free tickets to the very best seating at sporting events, and paid for travel tickets and free vacations at posh resorts, along with arranging for hefty campaign donations. Abramoff, who was just one of many Washington lobbyists, says that he had at least 100 House members in his pocket, and that he also paid people to work for him who were at the same time staff members of Congressmen. The interview itself, although going deep into the corruption surrounding lobbyist activities, is just a preview of a much wider exposé presented in Abramoff's new book. Ask for this book at your local library, or look for it online or on bookstore shelves beginning today if you can't wait.

Another advantage; even if she begins to gain traction, and thereby threaten the 'status quo', she PROBABLY won't have sexual harrasment history to crop up from her past. Not that women aren't eaqually capable of sexual peccadiloes, but they are usually far more discreet.

And, considering her looks, who in the world would complain?

Seriously, women candidates do seem to be somewhat insulated from this sort of thing. Seems I recall they tried it with S.P., and it didn't gain much traction, and when they tried it with a woman candidate during 2010, (can't recall her name), it backfired! Bear in mind when Perot ran, both parties conspired together to shoot him down. A viable third party candidate is a real threat to both parties, and better be prepared for some serious discredditing efforts, with no holds barred, gloves off, and every dirty trick in the book.Jim

                      • Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says in new interview that the federal government does not want our borders secured. “We are fed up,” said Brewer, whose new book, "Scorpions for Breakfast," was released today. “We are of course assuming all the responsibility and all the cost of the incarceration, the education and the healthcare for the illegals that come across the border and into our state. Unfortunately, we keep asking the Feds to do their share and they just simply won’t do that. It’s unfortunate, because we all know that it’s election time and they believe allowing illegal immigration to take place will help them get people registered and help them have voters out there come the election.”

She said she was outraged when the president said in May that Republicans would not be satisfied with efforts to curb illegal immigration until there was a fence with a moat stocked with alligators to keep them out. “It’s unfortunate that our president has to make it a joke — that he has to make it funny,” Brewer said. “It’s a serious issue and it’s no laughing matter. I resented it and I thought it was very, very disrespectful to the citizens of Arizona and certainly disrespectful to America. This is a serious issue, a serious problem, and it’s their responsibility. After all, we are a nation of laws who believe in the rule of law and the law ought to be enforced and they’re not doing their job.”

Brewer titled her book after a comment that an admirer wrote to describe her toughness - “Jan Brewer Eats Scorpions for Breakfast.” She subtitled the book, "My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media, and Cynical Politicos to Secure America's Border," and she said she continues to get little help from Washington, even from her predecessor in Phoenix, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. “We in Arizona," said Brewer, "believe strongly that we need a border fence, and we need it secured — and we need it now.”

It is actually not like, when some complain about Welfare, that its complete wrong. I know a couple from Peoples what have Handycaps in different Ways.
But there is anyway a big Pro and Con about Welfare in general, some argue, it should not be done, because it charges the Goverment and debits the Taxmoney, and give Gov a Reason the take Taxes, instead Goverment should create Jobs or make them equal or easier to get a Job.
Another Issue is, each Economy has only a certain Ammount of Jobs depending on the Economy, you cant create more Jobs when there is no need for it, even harder this times with to pay this Worker today. At the other Hand we have allready a lot Peoples in job creating schemes, where is no need for them actually but we pay them with the higher Prices on ie Goods.
