Does the Scotus ruling, saying that Corporations are people too, (have the same rights as a 'person') have additional ramifications???

Bill of rights are INDIVIDUAL rights, affirmed as being rights of all citisens, and primarily so affirmed to protect individual citisens from an overbearing tyranical gov't. BUT, if the Gov't is a Corporation, and if Corporations have been deemed to have same rights as citisens, than the bill of rights has effectively been shredded! NOW I get it! What if government officials have written laws that *apply only to us and not to them? What if we gave them the *power to protect our freedoms and our safety and they used that power to trick and trap some of us? What if government officials broke the laws we hired them to enforce? What if they prosecuted others for breaking the same laws they broke?

What if the government enacted a law making it a crime to provide material *assistance to terrorist organizations? What if that law was intended to stop people from giving cash and weapons to organizations that bomb and maim and kill? What if the government looked at that law and claimed it applied to a *dentist or a shopkeeper who sold services or goods to a terrorist organization, and not just to financiers and bomb makers?

Eric Holders 'Bucket List'

In a recent interview with NBC News, Eric Hold'em said he wasn't ready to step down as A.G. just yet, that 'there are a few more things I'd like to do as A.G.
He didn't elaborate on what is on his 'Bucket List', so we can only speculate!

1. I'd REALLY like to be A.G. when the President declares Martial Law, and suspends Habeus Corpus! THAT would be way cooool!
2. There's still a FEW of the rights in the Bill of Rights I haven't had a chance to trample, yet.

Irony's abound!

Here's one for ya; a while back I was in a situation where I had a restraining order on someone, and they called me on the telephone, which was a 'prohibited contact'. I didn't have 'caller I.D.', and so called the phone company (this was a 'landline' #) and asked them if I could get a copy of my phone record, so I could prove this person had violated the restraining order.
The Phone company told me they would NOT provide me with any documentation showing who had called me, even though it was MY phone #!

I guess i should have called the NSA, as it turns out they do HAVE the info I was wanting!

One of the things nobody seems to be questioning is this quest for growth (economic). It seems to stem from the idea in business; a business can't remain static; it will wither if it does. But this concept is now being applied to economies, both national and 'worldwide' economy. Everyone (Gov'ts, etc.) is talking about and striving to 'grow' their economies. Seems like their MUST in the end be some limit; and I think the percieved benefits of growing an economy are illusory. More jobs means more people, which means more developement, (houses, roads, etc.) which in turns means more congestion, and taxes. So, then people move to a new area, and f*ck it up the same way.

Whats the point? Sure, short term the 'devlopers' make $, and the politicians get kudo's for bringing in jobs for their constituents, but what is the long term benefit? Coarse Human Beans (Legumes with legs) notoriously think in short term, both individually and collectively. Still, seems like insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results! Jim

TRULY TOUCHING

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life. As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country.

As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost and, being a typical man, I didn't stop for directions.


I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late.


I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play.

The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man.

And as I played "Amazing Grace", the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished, I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head was hung low, my heart was full.

As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen nothing like that before and I've been putting in *septic tanks for twenty years."

Apparently I'm still lost............it's a man thing.

Its against the law to incite or even talk about how to bring down the government so I will refrain from doing so but I sure the heck hope the damn thing implodes on itself and takes many of those snakes down with it. Karma is going to open up a banquet of retribution on those slimy snakes in DC and all their families who benefit from the misery and theft of the people they were sworn to serve.

Seems presidential assassination attempts/threats are on the rise. Obama has already surpassed Bush to be the all time record holder.

I don't think the system needs any help; karma WILL happen, and the system WILL collapse under its own weight. And, I really doubt there is anything any individual can do, or even any group, to either hurry or delay the process.

Certainly 'taking out' Obummer would NOT be a good thing; then we would have Bitem, and I find it hard to believe anyone can think THAT would be a good thing!

Stock markets up where it was before 2008, Car sales are up,housing is up and all the infomercials on 'house flipping to become a millionair' are back, employment is starting to 'pick-up', and of coarse the Banks are playing monopoly with derivatives, unchanged from what they were doing in 2007. (Remember the 'London Whale'?)

We are once again 'cruising for a bruising', and this time we WILL run off the cliff. Instead of getting angry, (5150) might as well A) 'Cheer' our leaders, for their mindlessly steering us off the cliff, and B) securing your own situation, as best you can, to withstand the 'fall'.

It can be frustrating, waiting for the 'other shoe to drop', just need patience.Jim
