I've know this a longtime, heck I've been told that this is something I suffer from. Never question authority..yea right.

Everything the Government and the Police state do is aimed at compliance (conformity). they even have compliance officers these days. basically its do as they say or else they will be able to lock you up in a civil commitment for your mental disorder which will be classified as inciting and disturbing the general peace of others or interfering with government or law enforcement protocol

as sickening as this story is what really bothered me about this entire article was this paragraph which sums up my total disgust for the system.

An attorney who represents Roberts in his official capacity as a state trooper, Assistant Attorney General Devan Pederson, filed a motion last week to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that claims against Roberts in his official capacity are barred by sovereign immunity. The motion does not address the merits of the women's claims.

so kidnap, rape and gross criminal activity are considered official capacity activities? the fact the Assistant Attorney General is even arguing this lame excuse should be reason to recall or fire this sorry excuse of a Assistant Attorney General.

In my personal opinion in a perfect world that cop should be taken out back and shot in the head at point blank range for the shame and criminal deeds he has perpetrated to the law enforcement community, but reality will dictate he will get a slap on the wrist and then returned back to work as a police officer with a desk job or some lame ass deal. all of which are more examples of why the public no longer has any confidence in authorities who supposedly govern us.

That's quite a story, 5150, and both the trooper and Pederson really must face charges for their parts in it. Besides, both are public servants and therefore are fully accountable for their actions. Their mission is to serve the People of Oklahoma, the actual sovereigns. Neither law enforcement officers, district attorneys, nor anyone else engaged as a public servant, can claim immunity from prosecution. Because Pederson did file the motion in this manner, perhaps this indicates that the Oklahoma state legislature passed a statute saying that anyone employed by the state was protected while working in their official capacity by "sovereign immunity," but such a statute would no doubt be repugnant to the Oklahoma constitution and therefore have no more validity than if it had never been passed.

I would suggest that you contact the Oklahoma Common Law Grand Jury about this despicable act of injustice, as I'm sure they will want to file indictments against these criminals if they haven't already taken steps to do so.

The idea that the police officer was acting in his official capacity when he committed a sexual assault is laughable.

When a public officer breaches a duty they are acting outside the office and incur personal liability.

The problem is people go for a payday and sue in the official capacity. These individuals are rogue and the taxpayer shouldn't pick up the tab.

It is very strange that anyone would submit to conformity knowing that our countries came into being solely because they refused to conform to the wishes of those that oppressed them at the time. Our founders who created our governments were most definately non-conformists thus the psychologists must be implying in no uncertain terms that the people who created our countries and the laws and freedoms of the land must have suffered from some form of mental illness. In a sense we could even go so far as to say conformity is in fact un-patriotic as patriotism is the love of one's country which as we know came into being due to non-conformity. Obviously one cannot love their country and then disagree with the beliefs on which it was created, in effect everything it stands for...that is absurd.

Logically speaking these Psychiatrists must be terrorists, lol.

As such I find it impossible to believe any Psychiatrist in their "right mind" would even suggest such a thing unless they themselves suffered from some form of mental illness. I would suggest they seek treatment from other Psychiatrists who do not suffer from such delusions.

It is also important to understand that the Psychiatrist generally spends their days indoors dealing with toubled people thus the atmosphere in itself is condusive to detatchment from reality ie. delusion. They also typically enter the profession due to feelings of a lack of control in their life and their work is in some sense their own therapy giving them feelings of being empowered. In a word they tend to crave control over others to give themselves a sense of control. So yes they have as many "issues" as anyone else they just refuse to talk about them, lol.

And, this applies to municipal and state Governments, as well. I suspect this is why the states attourney is getting involved, 'on the officers behalf'. Maracopa county has paid out millions, as a result of inmate deaths at Sherrif Joes jails, (wrongful death suits) as just one example. His (state attourney)argument is unconventional, but I suspect won't go anywhere.

You correct. However this only applies if the actions were committed for the benefit of or at the behest of the corporation. (States and munis are corporations)

Does anyone really think the sexual assault was for the benefit of anyone except the cop, personally?

Immunity only applies to discretionary official duties.
