Of all the political argments currently in the public discourse, the argument AGAINST voter I.D. has got to be the well,....lamest. ........requiring a valid I.D. would be a good step, that would at least make them work harder. And I really think that most people think the argument that such a measure 'inconveniences and disenfranchises' poor voters is absurd. Arizona's law would give such people, (if they weren't drivers), a state issued photo I.D at no charge, once they proved who they were.

I have a friend living in Texas, where they did pass a tough voter ID law, and it was put in effect in time for this mid term election. He says that each person's ID is checked both for validity and against the voter's listing on the rolls. If there is any discrepancy then the voter is ushered out the door. It's so easy, and so sensible. I'm still trying to get them to do this here in Maine, where they simply use an honor system where you walk in at the polling place, say your name, they put a check mark next to your name on the voter roll, and hand you a ballot with no questions asked. There is never a question unless your name doesn't appear on the roll, or has already been check marked. And if your name has been check marked, and you are able to convince these people that you really haven't voted yet, and they allow you to vote, the person who fraudulently gave them your name earlier may very likely have negated your real vote because of the fact that both votes will now be counted. They of course cannot pull out the fraudulent vote because there is no marking system that would identify the ballot that was inserted in the reader earlier. I really think that a vast improvement over the current system would be to include a numbered stub on each ballot which could easily be detached and retained by the voter. After voting and returning to home, the stub number could be typed in to a search at a ballot confirmation website, and the result shown would either confirm the choices the voter had actually made at the voting booth, or it would show that the voter's choices had been bastardized. If the latter were the case, then there would be a provision at that website for filing a formal complaint. After determining that a complaint was filed by a valid registered voter, the ballot would be pulled using its matching ID number, discarded, and a new ballot would be issued to the voter. Of course this particular method would only apply to hand marked or punched paper ballots.

Regarding the sweeping results of this election, I have no reason to think that it resulted from voting honesty and integrity, as one can be certain that all kinds of dirty tricks were utilized. Rather, the results show quite clearly that the People were totally fed up with the Obama agenda and simply gave Congress a mandate to stop that agenda. The lamestream news pundits are feverishly attempting to have us believe that this tidal wave of opposition is merely a demand that Congress begin accomplishing something by "working with the president" to finally get legislation passed. How ridiculous! If that's what the People really wanted then they would have voted Democrat.

The upcoming "lame duck" session will certainly be a dangerous time, as "Dirty Harry" Reid will do everything possible to quickly push through as many repugnant pieces of legislation and pork-fest add-ons as possible. And in the House, Boehner is likely to play along, just as he usually does. Now that Republicans control both houses of Congress, we should start seeing legislation to repeal or defund ObamaCare, audit the Federal Reserve, cut taxes, and cut spending. What we actually will see is probably something else. Of course they will claim that they can't do any of this because Barry will veto any such legislation, and that they don't have a large enough majority in the Senate for an override of his veto.

If past experience holds true this time around then it will be more of "Meet the new boss - same as the old boss," as The Who sang in Won't Get Fooled Again.

That is another thing I left out with the South Carolina Attorney General. He was getting very very old and his son took over right in his office when he got sick and finally died.

The pollsters tell us people are 'tired of gridlock',..etc. Personally, being a small government conservative/libertarian, I LIKE gridlock. Since I believe anything DC does is going to screw somebody, or create a new problem, I LIKE it when they don't do anything.
However, for those who don't like gridlock, there IS a smple solution. IMHO the next best thing to gridlock happens when ONE party controls both houses, while the other controls the WH. That forces compromise. At least it always has in the past. Thats when Clinton co-opted much of Republican agenda, and created work-fare, where recipients of welfare were required to work.
Anyway, again IMHO, the WORST scenario is where ONE party, doesn't matter which, controls all 3; WH and both houses of Congress. (Heres where I sort of agree with you; if people really want 'something to get done' in DC, they should have voted democratic; thank GOD they didn't.)So, one should forget ideaology, and policy, and simply vote for Congress based on which party controls the WH. True Education

What passes for education in 2014 and the years leading up to 2014 is a sorry excuse for education, as it should be. In years past, students were taught that the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land and all other true and valid laws were compliant and consistent with the constitution, the constitution being the "supreme LAW of the land. In the world of 2014, the constitution is a flexible, malleable and living document that is construed according to the popular will of the people, whether they actually participate in the democratic process or not. Thus we have the POTUS aligning himself with those who did NOT vote.

So, what is TRUE education? True education is what you get when you learn to think for your self. It is what you get when you can reason from cause to effect. It is what you get when you are enlightened to the deception and fraud that is rampant in this degenerate and corrupt society in which we now live in 2014. It was predicted years ago; every principle of the constitution will be repudiated. And, it has come to pass. For details, google the phrase for yourself.

One Up

That's not fair Wayne, we have "one up" on the average shmoe and yes the prediction I read wasn't from Nostradamus, just like you.

The true is in all of history we have the records that show the gradual decline in morality as set forth by the Constitution. I think the biggest thing I see for instance is men kissing on the mouth. Johnny Depp, Michael Douglas and so many more kissing on talk shows to show their twin orientation.

All great societies or empires rise and fall. If you look close you will see that the old system is removed when the grossness of the leadership is so unbearable that even the most lawless young persons will destroy it in favor of a partial sanity.

The younger who take over will decline and the system cycle starts again. It is the cry of the people that causes the young men to arise to the righteous challenge.

Our system today is a world wide system and there is no where to run. There is no one to rise above it because it controls all. This one world system is now here as foretold for generations and no one will escape this forced test.

We have been talking about what each of us consider right and wrong by OUR definition. We compare it to how men run the government, we call it a ruling class. THEY are dictators at heart.

THEY do not honor the rules that their fathers lived by. They will have no rules. This is why these controllers will not have a woman, because the woman represents the standard for good clean law abiding living.

The idea is that THESE CONTROLLERS must show their complete hatred for the old standards so it is not just the doing away with the woman. Any man who can send his woman to another woman because he does not want her will have no problem raping his own daughter or killing his own son.

I know this sounds way out there for many of you listening in but the question is, where does this Law Violating Control freak stop?

What lie will he give you in order to get his way because he knows you will never except him if he is caught robbing and murdering the innocence of the young and unaware.

What kind of leaders do we have today? When will the young men say "it is enough"???

The sound of war is all around. Look at Russia. Do you think Russia will sit idle by while the UN struts nude in front of the world like a drag queen?
