    coil

I tried this once, using poor choice transformer and baking pan, suspended from ceiling and impulse diodes. I was getting close to 2.5V. Probably different coils will produce various effect (Tesla's bifilar, perhaps?) I think this will work better outside and with longer vertical wire. Have to try this again.

i have a sucessful LED LAMP test! MAYBE...

Took the 1n4148 bridge rectifier with a steel form stake as a ground, 18 inch long 12 ga solid copper wire with insulation, formed with 5 turns 1 inch diameter air core x 2 coils, and a BLUE LED ! went to the second floor and connected the top of the 26 GA 20 foot long insulated magnet wire conductor to the air core top coil then to an 8 foot long aluminum pipe x 2" dia...BUT FIRST!!!!

initially at ground level...the best voltages were with the pipe pointing east at a 45 degree angle.

ALso insulate your body from the pipe with gloves or there will be higher voltages... like .452 volts, obviously our energy or electricity in our body will give a false reading... i set the Digital voltmeter up on a board to watch the voltage and noticed that as i walked away from the device, about 10 feet the gradual increase of voltage.. looks like what ever it is, our body seems to interfere with the signal and reduce the potential...

When i rotated the aluminum pipe outside on the ground from horizontal , pointing west and rotated up to vertical the voltage climbed from .018 volts to a max of .069 volts DC at the 45 degree point facing or pointing east.. after a specific point the voltage started to drop again as i went horizontal pointing east...back to the .020 volt range.

then... I finally took the pipe upstairs and connected the LED .. the voltage went from millivolts to 1.21 VDC
I leaned it against the center rail of the sliding window without the screen and my kid screamed.. ITS LIT !
we had 3.2 volts... after i went down to see the continuously burning LED LAMP.. i sent my kid upstairs to turn off the lights and fans... the LED flashed brightly everytime he hit the switch for the ceiling fans on... seems we might all just be picking up the strong magnetic fields from the wiring in our walls.

The pipe acts as an antenna and sends stray voltages to ground, AC house circulating currents, the rectifier bridge allows these small alternating currents to be rectified to a DC component...

as for the millivolts outside, it could be picking up the digital signals from television broadcast antennas, accounting for these small voltages.. or it could be the electrolysis reaction between different soils on the metal plate in the ground

I want to hope that we are tapping in to the earths magnetic field... the only way to verify this is to go into a mountain canyon where no tv or radio signals can reach and try it there... also get a rig of telescoping PVC pipes and ropes, pulleys... send a plate up high in a mountain ravine and measure the voltage... see if it actually increases with height in a very remote location.

This way we can rule out broadcast signals and magnetic fields from transmission lines.

The telephone pole out in front of my yard has two conductors along the top that carry 12,000 volts AC... this gets transformed down to 240 by a 50 to 1 ratio transformer ( this allows a home at 100 amps to require a transmission line capacity of 2 AMPS! )

if there are 40 homes on that branch circuit thats 80 amps at 12 KV... the disconnects they use on the 12 KV line are rated at 300 amps.

So it very well could be magnetic lines of flux coming off my transmission lines outside

once again be very skeptical when doing tests related to electronics... even if Edward Leedskanlin was right and there are no electrons or protons... dont assume that those little rotating helical dipoles in the aether cant send power through long distances to your "antenna" !

anyone willing to set up a video bench test in a remote wilderness location???

        Tron,
I think you could also use a spectrum analizer to see if the energy you are getting is from local radio stations and etc. But i guess you would have to know what frequencies everyone around you is broad casting at. It would also be interesting to see what the frequency is that you are picking up. Tesla said that it is possible to pick up these waves so i think that gives great credit to it being a reality. No doubt the inventor of the radio knows if he is picking up radio signals or not, but i dont trust my own results near as much as his. So you are right, we need to make sure to find a way to isolate only those radiant signals Maybe variable inductors. Great results! Keep us posted.

          Videos

          Hi all,
I uploaded two videos of my configuration. First one is showing the connections and voltage that I'm getting and also I put neon bulb to see that there is real power. I also noticed that when metal plates are at the same height the voltage is the same, but when I increase the height of the plate voltage increases. That is the reason why my plates are not aligned. You also see that I'm using pan as a plate and some other metal object from house . In the second video I'm charging the 2000 microF capacitor. I didn't had the tame to calculate the energy but I plan to do so.

Just to add that my capacitor is still charging and it has 89 volts in it right now

            Wow!
Those are some impressive results. Its looking great so far but it would look better if you were outside and on a separate earth ground from the building and away from all the house wiring and such. Ill try to run some tests outside tomorrow, i got high hopes for this one. Great work

I agree, and I'm planing to do so this weekend.

                some more results

Ok, i did some tests outside away from the house to see what i could see. Just doing crude tests right now but did learn some things. Here they are:

                1) Height did make a difference. For the same plate size, i got better results 12 feet off the ground compared to 3 feet off the ground.

                2) Plate size makes a difference, but its surface area not volume. The more surface area i added the higher the voltage climbed. However when i tried using a small surface area couple pound solid block of aluminum, the results were very poor.

                3) I can confirm Trons results, using a pole facing an east-west direction yielded the best results(good observation Tron ) With even a smaller surface area than my other plates, i got a higher voltage using an aluminum pole facing east-west.

Im fairly confident that i was not picking up anything from my house but i cant rule out radio signals and such yet. Highest voltage was just under half a volt. This is very much reminding me of T. H. Moray. He used a long wire stretched between 2 poles for his collector plate. I wonder if that wire just happened to be stretched in an east-west direction Gives me ideas for more things to test. A quote form Ed Leedskalnins magnetic current book, its the very first sentence.
"This writing is lined up so that when you read it you look east, and all the description you will read about magnetic current, it will be just as good for your electricity."

Some unsuccessful results. I just tried testing my theory of the long wire stretched east to west. Between 2 trees about 20-25 feet off the ground i stretched an extension cord about 75 feet of cord distance between the trees. Unfortunatly i got the worst results ever with this setup Oh well, it taught me a little more i guess Onto the next idea.

Increasing a potential difference with height

                    Hi,
I made a video to show how potential difference is increased by increasing the distance between to plates. The lower one is acting lake ground ind this case. Scale on my meter is set to mV. Another test will be to dig a hole in to the ground and put some metal object and see if there is any voltage between grounded plate and plate one meter above the ground.

Ah gotcha sorry, I thought you were saying that when you turned your resolution you hit a 60hz freq, I thought you were mistaking improper grounding and a signal from mains.

                          Guys, please

Do you really think that was the reason for tesla to patent such device ?

TESLA HAD SHOWN CLEARLY that radiant energy WAS BEEN produced with his wireless system and that device was a basic converter from radiant energy to normal electric current.

First read patent 462418 and description of Fig.2

..or rather from radiant energy to HF current of lower voltage but higher current but actually you can discharge it at the 50hz rate too if you have a nice ground (source of electrons)

Has anybody measured the frequency or looked at the waveforms coming in?

                                boguslaw,

You may very well be correct
But it could not be a bad thing for people to make this simple device so we can prove, as tesla did, that this radiant energy exists. Although we may never get much power using this simple way, at least its a good and simple example that might help prove to the nonbelievers that radiant energy does exist. Showing people things that dont use batteries or any other power source might be a little more persuasive. Either way i find it to be interesting. But thanks for bringing that point up
