  • How to make 2MHz for inductive load? (basic electronics)

    Hello everyone,

sorry for asking that simple electronic-for-beginners question:

I would like to drive a inductive load up to ~2MHz with my frequency generator. I guess its not advantageous to to put the generator directly to the load? I guess no need for sine wave, rectangular pulsing will do it.

    How to go on?
Do I need a FET? What type of FET? How to switch it?

Do I have to use a cap (in parallel?) with the inductive load? What kind of Cap?

Any little drawing would be helpful.

    Thanks a lot

You can do it with my design pll i guess you just reduce the capacitor of the pll and you must use the 7646 pll instead of the 4046 and you should work at 5 v
You wont need the divider and the feedback.

check my thread stanley meyer the true
