FREE ENERGY Excellent theory postulations with math support
FYI
Excellent papers from a very well done website by Vyacheslav Gorchilin
Of particular interest is:
Free energy
Quote from the paper above [3 parts total]:
Free energy
In recent times, have significantly increased interest in the surrounding free or "free energy". Actively developed devices receiving and transforming it into forms familiar to us: light, heat, electricity. In this work, we want to offer the theoretical part of the research, which will allow developers to more deeply understand the processes. At the same time, we postrema not extend their calculations beyond the school physics course!
{n.b. - postrema -> area of the brain that controls vomiting! }
Original Russian text:

Article list (refered to as Notes): Notes
NOTE that Vyacheslav Gorchilin provides the mathematics to support his postulations, including the MathCAD [older ver 14 or 15 it appears; not Prime 3] files. Those familiar with RF Design & Engineering will immediately recognize the equations and theory used).
Vyacheslav also provides numerous interactive graphic displays to visually show the concepts, including Standing Waves within a Tesla Transformer (Tesla Coil); and a whole lot more...

This IS an excellent and timely web site!!! Review the site thoroughly with an inquisitive mind!
Attention: Use the links above and the included Yandex Translation (upper right). Google translate will not display the formulas correctly [Google translate appears to not properly invoke jsMath ???].
tswift, et. al - Great work!
Bruce - thanks!

Once the build is complete and I can actually experiment and measure it, I will probably wind another L2 coil around the outside and compare. I still think that the configuration I have now is likely to produce too much voltage so I will have to subtract turns from L2 and retune accordingly. If the power level is low then it won't be much of a problem, but if significant quantities of excess power start showing up then it will either burn out the 1N5822 diodes or blow the supercaps. I need to design some sort of protection/crowbar circuit on the cap bank to preclude any chance of this happening. The balancing logic on the cap backplane has a very limited ability to dissipate watts of power so either a shutdown circuit or else a significant wattage capability dump load could be used. Of course, I don't know yet if I'm likely to actually GET any significant/noticeable/measureable power gain with this configuration. I would be HAPPY to have the problem of excess power to get rid of....
All I'm really expecting of this build is just to self-run and maybe light a couple low-wattage bulbs, if it does that much I'll be pleased. In my previous experiments I have come close to self-running and maybe even had true self-running working intermittently but not continuously. Excess power beyond this would be gravy and is of course what we're all looking for but I don't expect to get there in one step.

Your right about the parts. It takes weeks to get the parts from asia. But its worth the wait because of pricing and it is free shipping Shipping from within my country is more expensive than the parts from asia.
Tswift, why have you chosen too put the l2 inside l1 ?

This is the current state of the assembly. Progress going slower than I want, experimenting time is always at a premium and subject to other duties and responsibilities. I have some of the components already mounted on the backplane, and some of them just sitting there while I trial fit it all together. I realized I can save another inch or two of space by stacking the C1 cap on top of the spark gap, it's just sitting there but I will make a top plate of acrylic with mounting holes so the screws to fit the computer fan case can just go right through it. I realized that mounting into the wood with sharp-tipped wood screws might be a bad idea due to corona discharge forming at the sharp points when it's operating at high voltage. This could char the wood or even set it on fire, not a good design. I guess I will probably just epoxy the capacitor mounting brackets to the acrylic to avoid any sharp screws.
I also need to fabricate some kind of spacer to hold the L1 coil in the middle of the L2 coil, I would like to make something prettier out of acrylic but I'm out of good acrylic. All I have left is some old stuff that doesn't cut very well. I will go ahead and order some more, hopefully it doesn't have to come from Asia....
And yes, most of the parts you might want/need have to come from Asia these days it seems. Usually 10 days lead time, sometimes more. The only good news is that the longer you do this type of experimenting, the more useful parts and equipment you have already on hand taking up space in your shop :/Attached Files

All the ones I have found on ebay are from Asia. I have a flyback driver coming but its anyone's guess how long it will take to get here. if you have a link to one from the u.s. please post.

Tesla/Smith parts
I am very sorry for intrusion but i have Tesla/Smith parts for sale on profile pics.
thank you and sorry.

It is not a specific flyback driver. It is from a PLL Solid state tesla coil ZVS.
The frequency is too high for a flyback.
You can make some adjustments so it will work with a flyback. They are available on Ebay

Any source for that flyback driver board you are using in the US? I have a flyback and driver coming but have to wait for it to come from Asia. All of my nsts seem to put out a strange waveform and I think it's one of the reasons I am having difficulties getting any results.

they're lying that they are out of stock but could make more if I order them and wait 9 weeks??

the yellow caps in the don smith device is manufactured in the second week of 1977,the video you posted have the same manufacture number.
i guess customelec telling a lie in the reply.

Not saying having the exact parts will bring instant success, just saying I don't even have a functioning primary because my power supply doesn't work with the circuit its attached to. I would have no problem using a tv flyback, was also looking at amazing1.com selection of hv hf power supplies like the one tswift demonstrated.
do you mean you have asked customelec for the cmriaXXX yellow caps and
they replay they have stock but need 9 weeks to ship to you?
