work accoding to the voltage u calculated in ur secondary and make trafo according to that but b4 trafo u will be having hv so use cap for 60 hz combo according to that voltage.

WELL RULE OF THUMB ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO CHOOSE A STEP DOWN SO U HAVE MANAGEABLE VOLTAGE AND ACCESSORIES.

Primary many turns on 2inch diameter? or on 3 inch ?
Secondary will be inside primary or outside? what diameter?

Well, I would need a 5H coil to even make it slightly affordable at 1.5kv. Min voltage for for electric to jump through air is 350v. Even a 500v cap at 1uF is somewhat expensive. I think I'll just study the power factor correction nomogragh thing.

I believe you can make L to be a transformer, step down. Make on L some turns and maybe will work.

Capacitor discharge in this circuit won't do what Tesla had in 1st place - accumulated energy discharge. When you discharge capacitor, you want to use all energy inside of Tesla Coil primary so it will have best effect:

You cannot understand how a system works by simply looking at a schematic
the geometric location of the primary as opposed to the secondary is very important.
The design itself will determine whether you achieve ou or not.

I can�t see much in your movie. You use a fly-back transformer. You have a very, very long wire who is on ground, you lose a lot of energy (power) with that long wire.

The fly-back transformer is used to charge HV capacitor which discharges over Tesla Coil primary and spark gap.
That long wire on the ground is grounded. I did not use ground from 220V socket ground connection for sake of electronic devices around what already are going crazy from spark gap action and scalar waves...
The wire connects to 200V 15W bulb 1 side. The wire from other bulb side goes to one of secondary coils. So you get earth and coil as 2 charged electrostatic capacitor plates and it works quite well even not in perfectly tuned Tesla coil.

P.S> If I touch one of Tesla Coil secondary coils , i get spark between my hand and coil but it does not hurt - the cold electricity...

The Tesla coil uses only half the vector field, the Don Smith device is the only device Iv seen that uses both sides of the vector field, it has twice the power compared to the Tesla coil.

I'm curious how Don solved the 240V/50Hz or 120V/60hz generation from his devices. If someone has a better quality of the picture please post it here. It is difficult to see in the picture if he charged a capacitor or capacitors for temporally energy storage for a load (inverter). It would be nice to identify the components.

This simple inverter circuit can be used to generate 240v 50hz 500Watts from 12v DC from a reverse connected 240V to 12V transformer.
500W or higher is possible if you change the MOSFET for higher ratings.
555 timer is not used, but a PIC controller to generate the timing signals for 50hz or 60hz.

Since caps are charged to, lets say 240V DC 2kva, from the reverse don coils, is it useful to replace the MOSFETS for 240V 10A type instead of 60V 50A or voltage dividers?
Resistors as voltage divider waste energy!
Use a different transformer winding ratio for the input voltage to output voltage.
