This is exactly how I try to find info now. I try and read between the lines/lies and come up with the true path, yes it is difficult, but after 46yrs on this island we call UK, I have seen most types of evil/deceit/corruption and I personally try to live my life a better, more moralistic way.

To all - please be careful when buying the HP 8111A. The item may power on, but that doesn't mean the the unit will output a signal. The main chip in these units is unobtainium. Make sure the unit is Fully tested before you buy one.

The one I have at least puts out square waves, but the sine and triangle functions do not work.

If you own one of these check the heatsinks on the two main IC chips. If you just touch them they will probably fall off. Use something to reattach the heat sinks as the old adhesive will be all dried up.

There are probably other units that suffer this same problem. Please be careful what you buy online!

The "convenience", or what you would like to see, is not what this picture resizing is about. As it has been the case that the site stops working properly, due to these over-sized pictures and diagrams. There is normally a recommended pixel size limit. As problems have happened before more than once, and can happen again. That has been the case at OU.com, fairly recently, also. That is why I bring it up.

Here is an example of a size that will not cause any problems, and as you can see there is no problem viewing it, as well.

I would disagree. I can read an IC chip number in his SERG V's post but no chance of reading it in the one you posted. With the monitors that are common now (wide screen) and using the Opera browser everything fits fine on a screen with no left -right scrolling needed. BTW Opera browser has a slider as well as using + or - to quickly and easily shrink or expand your screen size and thus picture details. Best browser in cyberspace IMO
