Hi Bodkins,
I wonder if you can use plumbing pipes for the outside 'primary'.
I made one stubblefield generator from this. I was told it was soft iron which is the reason I used it.
A metal roof from the old days, but probably not in UK.

thanks you two 95% is good but it says The iron sheeting is to be in the range of 0.010" to 0.015". The iron sheeting should be as thin as possible as it is desirable to obtain the most powerful fluctuating magnetic field to be induced as close to the wire as can be physically and electrically achieved.
if im going to gold plate this i need to be sure!
jenna great work on the earthbattery

I have been fascinated by the "white powder gold" craze.
It occurs to me that experiments should be performed
with white powder gold to see if there are electrical properties of
interest.
The human benefits of this material may be that the monatomic
gold attaches to DNA, allowing electric currents to flow
less attenuated.
Single atoms of gold may have properties quite unusual.
Certainly the Egyptians were interested in making the stuff --
or so the story goes.
It is interesting that this device wants gold plating on the iron
sheets.
Gold certainly is well known for its low resistance and
so it may serve as a better conductive material here only.
White power gold is rumored to be a "room temperature"
superconductor.
If you can remove resistance from an LRC circuit,
you can make it RING indefinitely.
Better still would be negative resistance ... regenerative oscillations.
There is great interest in these monoatomic materials..
morpher44@dont get me started on the cherubs, been reading about cubits and solomans temple. may try and build this using cubits.
Matthew@ the flexible stuff cant be gold placed?. can you have a look at this McMaster-Carr
ANTIQUER sent a link and it looks good to me the size is to big but its a start.
