This is an interesting thing, I wonder why I haven't seen anybody experiment with this idea. A gyroscope obviously exerts an upward force when we force it to change its angle of rotation.

Good video, esp. the parts on magnetic levitation. I particularly like the little yellow gyroscope levitating in mid-air.
