Lets say you came up with a small unit the size of a cigarette box that would scale easily that was overunity and anyone could build it very easily in there bathroom standing on one food while brushing ones teeth, say in an hour with off the shelf parts.
Would you sell it to the man so as to look after yourself? If so how much do you reckon you would get?
Would you throw it out into the public? If so what do you think the worldwide consequences of doing so would be. I want you think of the whole picture. What would happen imediatly and then what in the long term.
I know its a strange question but I think its one we all at some time have had in the back of our minds

I can answer for myself Damian.
I would reproduce it and sell it for a living. though my ambitions would not stop there. I would try to improve the lifestyle of my home town / province / country after assuring the neseccary means of survival and working in this field.

Of course, it is predicted that a huge resistance of the enstablishment would emerged. Hence, i am not planning at waging that war all alone. I can recruit people to the cause as long as they can make a living and contribute towards this direction.

Keep it selfish and want-it-all and lose everything.
But besides that, if a ready free-energy device of low power production cost can be made and till now is strongly denied by the enstablishment, who knows what other technologies exist that can further boost our well being.
(I can assue you there are many out there)

Your question isn't strange at all and I'm sure more people is facing this dilemma. I have lost my trust in patent offices, government bodies and corporations, while watching my father's inventions being ignored, dozens of names added to the final drafts, with his being pushed to the end. People, who couldn't spell chemical compounds proudly saying - we did it and getting most of benefits. I was with my ill father in court, in 90' (couple years before he passed away) when he tried to fight 2 refineries for using his patent. Lawyers were clever and judge didn't have a background in this field. I was watching my father, holding to the stand and stupid grin on lawyers faces. At that time I was darn close to throw them through the window and watch loosing dignity, while approaching Earth. I realized then, that removing tools will not fix the problem.
Answering your question Damo I would make sure, my device has a "dead man fuse" and posted here first for others to make a copy, replicate and spread the idea. I don't care about profit. I cannot be bought, bribed and good luck to those trying to threaten me. The idea with a courtroom window didn't die

I really need the money so I would ask each person to request my "document" so that I could support them through the build and use.

I would ask for $10 and a signed and notorized non-disclosure agreement. The agreement would allow the person to build a larger scale unit for personal use only, not for resale, after they built the first unit to my specs.

That is what I would be willing to do if someone else had the "document" to sell me so that is what I would do.

I would also tell others about the "document" so that they could get one for themselves.

If I became rich (probably not) I would use the money to support my family and provide financial support for homeless people so they could get a place to live.

What would I do?

Disseminate the schematic as fast as possible, build an energy generator for myself, maintaining the option to withdraw from the energy grid when the time comes.

Build modules for my friends and family, asking them to disseminate and replicate as they are able.

Build modules for a cost to those that are unable to do so for themselves, and expect others to be doing so also.

Wait for the sh¡T to hit the fan.

If the device was fairly easy to replicate, and it showed OU in a graphic and obvious manner.... Then it would get the "world wide replication" treatment.

This would be done by getting the FULL plans & info on it out as widely as possible, as quickly as possible. Parts list, schematic, and directions on building.

Task those of us who can, to build as many as possible, to hand out to local college profs; and record their seeing it work. Get the local news to film it and write in newspapers about it. Get it going "viral" on the 'web, make sure it gets all over the world.

All it should take is ONE example like this to topple the whole suppression house of cards; it will act as a trigger... Once the plausible denyability is punctured, its all over for them. The devices with an inch of dust on them sitting on some corporate shelf will then come out and be manufactured.

Complex

I have thought long and hard on the topic. There are a number of scenarios that could happen. Unfortunatly none of them i like any more than the current situation and in some cases i dislike more than the current situation.
Scenario 1 (People)
Everyone has less to worry about and more free time and so they take up intelectual persuits, and stop there current behaviour, yeah right
Scenario 2 (People)
They keep there current behaviour and exhaust the planets resources and go to war on an even greater scale

Scenario 1 (Powers that be)
They are so use to controlling through burden and fear now that some burden has been reliefed they manufacture new worse burdens and fear.

I think if things became easier the population would take off like crazy. Also natural resources like land would skyrocket to a ridiculous point

Lets say there is some organization above corporate which have been around since who knows when. There role was to keep things in check and balance. It might be that our current economic and other is a result of there accounting, there balancing out the books without which the world would be in big poo in every way. Though i think it is already on there books. If i were them and suddenly a OU device came out i would initiate operation cull immediatly. It would insight panic, hinder the OU device from disseminating. I would use a tool which seems natural such as weather control, disease, etc

So in the end I guess if i had an OU design i think i would keep it to myself.

Yeah its sad that we have gotten ourselves into such a state where such a drastic readjustment is required, however logic must prevail. For this world to continue and for humanity to progress to a higher level the population requires trimming. I know i would hate myself if it were me who had the task of doing it, none the less i would. I guess its allot like a mum who is faced with the decision of there child being turned into a zombie or to kill him/her before it could happen. We cannot live our lives in fear of what crimes criminals would commit. The idea is to take away their power to commit mass crimes. And the way to end much of their power, and their excuses for war, is to eliminate the problem of oil, and the monopoly control they wield over us by it.

Explosive population growth only happens in desperately poor areas. This is the reason cheap energy will actually SOLVE population growth: through the creation of industry where none was before, creating a middle class in these countries that becomes more educated and prosperous, where they then naturally have fewer children (...and creating huge new consumer markets for the West as well). Begetting large numbers of children is an instinctual survival tactic for the poor... It goes away when the need for it does.

Free energy technologies are going to come out, one way or another, sooner or later. Doing it "Sooner", we end the wars for oil, and prosper world-wide that much faster. Look at it like this: There is an abscessed tooth that must come out. Waiting only makes the symptoms worse (...and in the case of oil, only makes the planet that much more polluted). Get the surgery over, and get back to smiling again Except this time, do so with an economy that is not monopoly-based top-down, but "people-based bottom-up", with REAL free markets and real ability to compete.

We are at a crossroads in our civilization where we are noticing our own decline. We will NOT be more prosperous on average than our parents or grandparents. We have seen the crippling and near-collapse of the economic system that runs the planet, and millions have lost their savings, pensions, hope for a better future, simply because some arbitrary numbers on a computer screen changed.... Is there a better time than NOW to change the paradigm?

Babies

People generally make babies cause they can. Poor people do it because theyre board and got the time. Better off dont because theyre busy as and have no time. If you introduce OU you make everyone have the time and quality of life to have babies.
Allot of people these days dont have children cause they cant afford to. What if you now make it possible for everyone to afford to. It no longer becomes a logical decision but an emotional one. One day you look at your partner and she smiles, wham bam another baby.
For me the human race is not everything, not special or amazing, sure it has the potential however it is rarely lived up to. The human race is of no more importance than any other species. Unfortunatly for every other species they have no voice. Its unfortunate for dolphins that they have no legs and arms. Im shore they would jump out of the water and kick our ass's

These last two posts pretty much synopsize the entire FE discussion. And I agree with all of it, except like Jibbguy, the part about "keeping it to myself". If we are to actually contribute to the creation of a better world, then that world must be built on the principles of HONESTY, INTEGRITY, and SHARING. Today's system of control of society is based on the opposite principles of lying, cheating, and monopoly control.

The SPIRITUAL teaching that should prevail here is as follows: "We are not to either participate in, nor resist EVIL, but rather, go about doing GOOD!" If we actually "DO THE RIGHT THING", then we will have contributed to the advancement of Civilization.

The release of an FE technology, if it is to succeed, has to be in a manner that is COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL. It must be out of our control and out of ANYBODY'S CONTROL, or it will be stopped. That said, it also has to be properly managed by people who are willing to be responsible for their actions.

First, I advocate the release of a design that has NO possible weapons applications, like a 1000 pound Gravity Engine. Something that cannot be used to fly a plane or power a car directly. It could be used to power a home, small business, and pump water, however. It must be something that can be used by the poorest people on Earth, to lift them out of their misery. Anyone who comes out against this development will clearly be seen to "be the enemy of the people".

Secondly, I advocate a two-phase release where the first phase is quiet and private and involves people who can keep their mouth shut and their enthusiasm in check. Once a couple hundred people have the complete design and have quietly and privately built and tested their unit, a GROUP RELEASE of the design can be coordinated on the internet, to millions of people in a single day.

If this is done correctly, the Sociopaths and Criminals will have to stay behind the scenes or they will risk exposing themselves. Of course, the media and the "physicists" will come out against it and try to dissuade people from investigating, but that phase will be short.

On the other hand, the release of a small, self-contained power plant that produces electricity could easily be weaponized, and therefore the large military organizations of the world would not want "the enemy" to get this technology. This would be a much messier situation, with much less probability of benefiting people in the short run.

There is a lot to this scenario. No action should be taken without careful consideration.

Some points to consider:

1. Remember what happened to Steorn (for those who believe they had the real FE deal). They would've examined all the possible contingencies, and yet, it appears their release was still sabotaged.

2. Get it out there. Mr. Lindemann's experience is worth considering in terms of release in stages. Whatever way you choose, it will be important to get it out there widely present (multiple continents?) reliable, irrefutable replication. If the horses get waaaay out of the barn, it's harder for you to be bought off, and the idea shelved.

3. Be safe. This may mean becoming a very public person with lots of interviews (after the technology's been released) with press, and pictures with lots of politicians and public allies. Or, this may also mean being totally in the background, with little acknowledgement as the developer of said technology, and allowing others to carry it forward, perhaps safeguarding the inventor's life in the process.

4. Examining deepest motives. Is it important to the inventor that s/he be widely recognized as such? Can the inventor's ego handle little or recognition after having made such a worthwhile contribution to the human family? One's response to such questions may determine whether one stays alive. But there are also more spiritual questions. With great expectations, there are also potentially deep disappointments and resentments toward those who should have or could have responded well. Detachment from this and purity of motive brings deep and lasting satisfaction that no kudos or recognitioncan equal. In a time of great contribution to humanity, you will find yourself utterly alone, but you will also be sent persons along the way to encourage (in addition to test) you.

5. Have someone who is wise, without self-interest and beyond compromise to consult. Such a person can help you weigh the factors in a decision and discern well where you're being called.

6. Whom do you ultimately serve? The kings of this world and their minions with empty promises of power or the One who is in all and above all, for Whom the poor, sick, widow, orphan or stranger is worth more than all riches and ideologies? Consider Revelation, 19: 19-20.

I would first make as many boxes as I could. Then, make schematics that result exactly in this WORKING box.
I would prepare a propaganda campagn, it hit the world all in the very same minute. Automated faxes and emails to all technical university addresses I could find in the months leading up to the launch. Scientific societies, governmental institutions, even respected multinationals such as Philips.
