@ all, a lot of good videos and hands on learning, thats always nice to see
@ Bob, nice vacuum test, the next step would be to put an AV plug at the end of the wire in the chamber and attach to that some aluminum foil to each electrode of the AV plug diode ends and look for a reaction.
the higher plasma was to me expected since some vacuum tests on lifters
a) lifter at normal atmosphere would lift
b) lifter in vacuum would arc between electrodes
c) lifter voltage was decreased from 30Kv to 2Kv but still arced
magnetic attraction to plasma, that is the basic principal of any tube TV but neat to see

just a question , if you can get the plasma jet and therefore some propulsion in normal air at the end of the wire, do you also get the jet and propulsion in your vacuum test aparatus?
You could simply let the wire hang in the apparatus and put the power of the exciter on and off repetedly . If doing this the wire begin to swing that means that it is some propulsion
If yes it does mean that it is possible to make a space ship with plasma propulsion "a la Slayer"
good luck and thanks for sharing

To all: Thanks...the results shocked me as well....I stayed on it until the wee hours of the morning seeing what else could be "found"...
1. At 16 inches of vacuum the plasma comes out in a jet that extends aprox 1.5" long. as the Vacuum increases the "jet" shrinks back to 1/2" long and stays there.
2. I used a larger wire coil, i.e. 30 awg and the plasma was bigger.
3. If you leave the wire and coil going under a 28.5" vacuum for over an hour, the last 2" of the wire develops a plasma around it with a diameter of about 1/2"...it's like ball lightning around the wire....I have video but fell asleep in the middle of uploading...sorry..will get to it tonight.
4. The wire was suspended in the tank....and when I turned it on and off it moved.
5. I will be making a coil that will fit INSIDE the vacuum chamber and see what effect it has on the whole "system".
6. When I re-pressurize the chamber and open it, the Ionization oder it EXTREMELY strong.
7. I placed a 1/2 L of water in the chamber and had the end of the wire suspended 1" above the surface. At 26 " of vacuum, and before the water starts to rapidly boil, the jet of plasma extends directly into the water and is VERY stable. It also did not have any other plasma on the part of the wire that is close to the silicone seal. Normally this area has plasma around it.
8. The current GOES DOWN in a vacuum! It went from 320 ma to 200 ma when the vacuum is applied. I repeated this test a dozen times and it is consistent for both wires and vacuum amounts.
9. It seems that when I have the magnet in a S or N pole oreintation against the plasma that one of them (N or S, I don't know which yet) repels from the magnet.
If anyone can think of more tests to run please let me know and I will give it a try.
Thanks for all the input....

@TheCell.Hi BobI think what you show in your vids is amazing as it shows the complete opposite of what was expected and now raises some interesting questions.
It seems air is not being ionised and the plasma is created inside the wire and expelled at the tip and external air pressure acts as a valve inhibiting plasma flow so what is this plasma? an electron beam like Michael John Nunnerley says?
Would this work even better in the near pure vacuum of space?
Is this a fuel less motor bar electricity for space flight?
Can this plasma flow be increased by magnetically accelerating it out of the wire with your 2nd discovery?
Does the output of the exciter increase in a vacuum in regard to running other loads like lights, electrolysis etc?
Some really exciting science going on here Bob,should get Farrah scratching her head lol. Thanks for sharing your results with us .Jonny
@Lidmotor Hi Nice mini slayer exciter. The output seems amazing for the size of the coil so it seems size is not everything and resonance is the key but you have long said this so just confirms your hunch but do you think you could half the size again? This would really help the guys interested in flight as the weight is the issue and if you can produce plasma with a small, light coil then an all in one powersource and lifter may be a bit closer.
I wonder if its time to start experimenting with starship and rodin type coils as they seem to use a lot less wire Jonny
@Tantric.Hi Juju.I loved your last few vids and the transformer one was amazing.I have never seen anything like that and could be worth its own thread as i am sure plenty of people would want to try that.
You have so many projects on the go i can't keep up.When do you sleep
Can't wait to see your lifter.Jonny

Looks cool . The spark always moving because it do not want to pass the same route each time.

@thecell, im also working with magnetic plasma, good news with the vacuum, what is your source of plasma?
if you guys want to see the most beutifull thing i ever seen about the 4th state of matter, you got to see my last video, i call it MAGNETIC PLASMA OHM!

vacuum do enhance plasma

Here is something easier to do for everyone:
YouTube - Deadbulb spark gap #2
At same power level (250ma at 10.5V):
At higher power level
Different circuit though, car coil + stingo, but I think JT SEC can do the same.

Plasma In A Vacuum!!!!
ALL: You won't believe this!!!...the vacuum INCREASES the plasma to unbelievable levels!!!
The entire wire glows while in the vacuum.
Specs are slayer007 circuit with MPSA06, 4 kv trigger and a 22" long coil of 36 awg on a 3.5" diameter pipe at ~ 200 ma 10 volts....
I am down loading the video right now and should be done in 8 min...
Thanks,

With all the recent developments regarding electrolysis i have been swatting up and come across a few people trying electrolysis in a vacuum.
This is probably not new too you but i was amazed by the apparant increase in gas production in a vacuum.I am wondering if this would increase the gas output of the one diode electrolysis and maybe you could try it in your chamber if you have not already done so.Many thanks.Jonny
Finally got back from our testing...and will try the vacuum today....I will keep you posted.

@lid cool setup!
i will also try my mini wireless with a tip31c transistor ande 12V to sse if i can get some plasma of it!!
cool camera you have there also, its seems that the microfone can pick very high frequencys!

The "Mini" Tesla coil

My video camera picked up a very high pitched whine that I could not hear at all. It is very annoying in the video but I decided to leave it there so people could hear the frequency.
Here is the dark video of the "Mini" running:
