  • WOW!

Looks like i've been away far too long. So much progress i dont know where to start. I've been busy moving from Russia back to the UK and havent had time to continue working on this great project, but you guys have sure been busy! Sadly most of ''the lab'' had to get left behind in Moscow, but i managed to bring back the exciter, the flyback joule ringer circuit and the parts for my tesla coil. I just cant get the flyback working like it used to......need a little more time........

Anyways, i just wanted to thank all you guys for the inspiration and help that you've given me - its really kept me going these last few years, and whenever i get in a bad mood, i just start tinkering and watching all your vids, and I feel a whole lot better and fast.

    Cheers

That is good news. I had mine working on as low as 1.3v also. But I can not get it to start without the variable capacitor.
I also had it working on a 10 uh inductor. The 10uh and the 22 uh is all I have right now I'll have to try some larger ones also.

        • Slayer's Choke Exciter-- in a solar garden light setup

          @Slayer
I built your new choke circuit up into a solar garden light prototype. It worked pretty good. I just used an infared photo transistor across the tranny emitter and base to turn it on and off automatically. The thing still causes a draw of a few hundred microamps when it shuts down the circuit but the solar cell that I am using (3v Electronicgoldmine) can handle that easily. In this video I show the circuit also running my self start pulse motor at the same time. The amp draw was 33mA on a AA.

          • Hi Totoalas,

Do you have any other info on the Robert33 replication.

I went to the link and my antivirus had a dummy spit.

No I try to go back, and it appears as a broken link

Any other detail, would be greatfully appreciated.

            Kindest Regards, Penno

any ac motor rotor that use carbon brush
like washing machine vacuum and ac drill
add magnet n the side two wires and a battery
the closer te wires n te rotor increase the speed
                hope this help

There's normally quite a lot of confusion from new folks about energy emissions. Dangerous extreme radiating stuff belching forth from our circuits apparently.. In practice, it's no more than a bit of mains type hum and fields directly similar to any powered coil.
But, we need to prove such things in a practical way, because words and data don't work !
So, bit of fun today. 3V from the same wall adapter as usual, circuit a little tidied up, running a 4.5V rated old battered radio.

Did the Slayer add a lot of distortion tot he signal?

                    • I'll probably do another as it's not a good radio, as can be seen, but the demo was really to show how it isn't a blast of static that comes through.
There's easily cases of interference and it could be sorted out with some filtering. A ferrite bead or choke or something..get's the mind thinking really. If this one is turned a bit physically and a bit more carefully it can receive better. As I say, it's just plonk and unplonk to show it running.

I've wondered about making a theramin type of thing from one of these. Modify with something to change the note of the reception with hand movements and then waft all day to fave songs...or the Beachboys

Another video here for diversity. Running a household clock. No real point to it, but it saves an AA. Thinking about it, the AA could run the tower, which powers the clock that the AA came from !

                        Hi Slider
Can you tell us the gauge and components of your set up
I tried to replicate using 2.3 nf and ga 18 in4148 and briefly charged my nokia for 5 seconds and no more reaction after that
tried it the next day and still cant find the right sweet spot
So for a Wi Wi Slayer Circuit hat runs 24/7
the next thing is the supply input
                        cheers

                        • @ Slider

Some Great videos Slider. It looks like you have been busy.

                          @ lidmotor

It's nice to see that your small exciter will run the leds and your motor at the same time.

                          @All

In this video I'm using the small Slayer Choke Exciter with Dr Stifflers NILS.

The L1 coil is going to a small piece of foil tape on the battery for a top load.
The leds are being power by the inductor off the collector.
There are six leds on the positive side and three on the negative side that are running back to the source battery.

This setup is not as strong or efficient as the bigger towers. But it is small enough to mount right on the battery.

I'm still waiting for some different inductors to try.Once I get it run more efficient I would like to mount the circuit along with the leds right on the battery.

                          • Cheers Slayer, huge fun with this !
Under 10mA on your latest circuit...I can imagine manufacturers of LED's writing 'Current Consumption - 23mA, er, unless wireless Slayer circuits are used and then who the heck knows'

Totoalas, yeah, sorry for some vagueneness, with very little in the way of test equipment, vague will come along.
To replicate, here's the biggest tip - turn the tower upside down
Where we normally have a field emanating strongest from the top, it's now at the bottom. The placement of devices around a tower then allows much more transferral.
If your phone lit for 5 seconds, it was showing power, but not enough of it was coming through and so the phone powered down. I have an ancient Nokia that does that and forms a good test meter, if that one works, others will. Charge time appears to be similar to the wall adapters...but all half dozen phones came from Freecycle and no batteries are less than 4 years old.
Receive side is 4x 1N4148 size clear Schottky's (very low forward voltage drop) and capacitor is a 10uF electrolytic. Receive coil is 2 turns of approx 26 gauge copper, of exact diameter as the tower.
That tower is made from 2" PVC plumbing pipe, wound with approx 24 gauge copper from a PC monitor degauss coil. 1 full coil bringing along one full exciter coil
The L1 is 1 turn of speaker hook-up wire, approx 20 gauge.

Would one of you be kind enough to post a simple circuit that
will work with the 6 turn over the 1000uH choke.

I would dearly like to build one of these.
