  • Tricks of the trade

I keep browsing these threads because eventually I expect I will learn something helpful. It is simply too bad that most of it is stuff I already know.

For instance, I keep learning that a lot of people post carelessly without thinking how they will be received by people reading their comments. I keep learning that people use technical terms without understanding them. I keep learning that people insist they are right when they are not.

Yet, I keep coming back hoping for some insight and hoping someone will convince me that a future of abundant energy is on the verge of becoming reality.

Mostly I have built some of the electronic circuits posted on this forum. I have had some success. But now I am trying to plot my way forward from this point. It seems the best realistic plan forward is to buy solar PV panels and construct my own power system from them. I can save money by doing a lot of the assembly myself. Not counting my labor, I am probably looking at a 5,000 USD investment and probably six months of my time.

I posted a blog here in this forum with an alternate plan. http://www.energeticforum.com/z/wayne.ct/blog/

If any of you bright fellows would like to suggest a better real world solution in terms of time and money, I'd like to hear from you.

There is a reason why science has been successful and technology is widespread. Don't be afraid to do the math and apply the laws of physics.

    • My mama always said a good thing will show itself, and make itself clear. I put in my full year on The basic Bedini SSG, 26" bike rim, finally getting everything to spec. In the end my conclusion is:
      • It's a pretty efficient battery charger.
      • It can at time restore batteries.
      • The rotor could be useful in use as a fan in some cases, especially for pushing heat down in a room, i.e. ceiling fan.
      • The circuit seems simple, but it is not at all really, when you really start into messing with it, and it is, indeed worth the time say 40 or 50 cycles with the pissy boring little circuit done as told to, yes, shut up son do what i say till you learn crap. There's validity in it.
      • If you get the basic circuit down, you probably might want to continue if your an off-gridder.
      • It's probably not far enough overunity to consider it as an energy source, if overunity at all.
      • Don't worry about it, just use it - ignore all the hype (if you possibly can) - it's good for batteries, and charges in low light - kick your high quality MPPT in during heavy sun. Save your real money for more sun and wind.

At the end of the day, the problem isn't at all the circuit. It's all the BS and hype. Not entirely the Bedini camp's fault; not entirely not their fault. Life's like that.

      That's my honest 2c.

I'm still buildin them and will continue to for quite some time. And I'll continue to support r-charge.com where and when I feel value can be had, and the SSG basic kit was indeed, good value. Now it charges small portable batteries as I move on to other bigger variants, it's all good. When John's energy products offer the value and performance, that his mono block amps do; look out.

      As for the initial comment:

Nobody owes us free energy, it's a quest you take on your own. If you want it delivered go buy it. It's there. You want watts, get wind and solar, insultate your house better. Change your habits. Technology need not change and I think Aaron and Peter are probably correct, there probably is OU on these forums, if your clever; and careful - will it pay off? Is Peter being honest? probably. If he has overunity devices sitting in his basement collecting dust, then chances are that they are destined to be dust collectors. It takes a lot more than a contraption with slight overunity to change your life. OU or COP, doesn't matter - if he had a world game changing device, it wouldn't be collecting dust, would it? Nobody paid much attention to solar panels for decades, now we have megawatt installations and the cost came down. Good things, really good things, take more than ingenuity and intelligence to get off the ground. You can be the smartest free energy engineer on the planet and still fail to make a device that will revolutionize the planet; or even your home. It's you, not the device. Will these contraptions emerge, rebirth and change the world as the free energy superheros of free energy get old and tired and put down their capes? Probably not like a wind turbine or solar panel will. That is, if we adopt them properly. Why? Because they've stood the test of time, and buried many an engineer - not just "a few dudes". People need to change, not technology; and I'm no exception. We need to stop desiring, and just start doing. The quest was over a long time ago, it's all there. A combined appraoch is proven, and no, not every single person can implement it; but those that can: go for it. Everything's right there. Make it happen.

      Alberta is under attack... http://rethinkalberta.com/

Has anyone seen my Bedini Ceiling Fan that pushes the warm air down, and charges batteries as an added bonus? Me neither. 'Bout time I made one!!!!! :P
