  • Thanks Gyula,

i managed to get it working....was a dogy test-lead... grrrrr

can now charge to DC 330V or so (im using a 20 watt, 240V bulb to limit the current )

now all i have to do, is wire my 12 x 15,000uF 35V caps in parallel/series to make one large cap capable of taking the 330V...and then im gonna have sh*t flyin around off the rodin coil

p.s i still have the PIC32 circuit here, havent abandoned it

    • Hi,

I quickly rigged up the circuit shown by Jamie Buturff, going from the wall AC..to a bulb ( to limit current ).... to a FWBR... across the DC of the FWBR was the coil..and in the middle of the coil was a carbon drill bit.....

using both a compass and a neo magnet..i could not detect any difference from one end or the other of the drill bit....ie.... at least in my setup, no monopole.

      • hi, ive probably overlooked something here...but....

        looking at the attachment

i get the same amp draw in both circuits...with the bulb fully lit...

so..in the top example, arent i getting a cap charged up.....essentially..for free?

        • see attatchment

          could it be this simple?

the source is AC btw ( hence the FWBR's )

          • Hi all,

I've been back for about a month now and have started to tinker again.
I set up a bank of 10 EXIDE 135Ah?? Batteries in 24v. I setup a Rodin /Bedini charge circuit. Attached scope shot is what??? A ch. - B ch. for the actuell charge. or is this signal even correct?

            • wb stubbs,

im nursing a broken arm at the moment ( came off my moutain bike on the ice ) so am in observation mode for now.

Look forwards to more of your stuff

                    • Did anyone try to set up rodin coils (or rodin coils/Bedini) in a geometric formation (plato's solids)? Just a suggestion

you should check out my posting if you want to know more (especially towards the end ):

I really think there could be something to this particular way of setting up the coils.

                        • for example the following type of set up, this one inspired from Walter Russell

                          • Long time....

                            Got something new...
Check out the attached. The charge is crazy...
I set the circuit up similar to the Bedini Circuit.
I have automatic Resonance and inpedanze zeroing.
It was a fluke that I was to even achieve this
and in phase. It is running a stanly Meyer replica fuel cell
and charging Batteries; WOW!!! Video to follow soon...
The Rodin Coil is not dead.... Next step is the starship coil
                            to compare...

                            • Hi

I am trying to make an electronic circuit for my coil so that it can make a neodymium ball spin. I've tried out a few circuits including Jack Scholz's Rodin/starship coil circuits on youtube (neospin8 Rodin Coil pulser circuit with Neoball - YouTube) but they don't work.

I'm actually using a Starship coil, which is similar to a Rodin coil, but easier to make.

Could someone post a simple Rodin coil circuit diagram/schematic that will make a metal ball spin? Thanks

                              Thanks.

                              • The easy way is modify an RC motor and controller.
most of the high speed brushless dc motors use quadrature drive controllers.
You could use the parts like the bearings, shaft and the armature windings would need to be converted to a starship coil. At that rpm even with a shaft it is dangerous, please be careful it will fly apart.
