I haven't built a WFC yet and could not tell you if his device works or not. All I know is that he gave his work freely, just like many people here have.
H2o is the one going through it, but I'm speaking to everyone who works diligently and wants to give the fruits of their labor to humanity. Often there is frustration because people don't react the way we think they should.
The only way to truly give is with no expectation of return. That means being perfectly fine with no compensation or recognition whatsoever. This is not so easy. We sweat and toil over our babies, and get all excited when they actually work. We then want to share our joy with the world but invariably become disheartened when the world doesn't return our enthusiasm. We feel that nobody appreciates our gift and we sometimes become bitter and resentful.
This is all very human. We get attached to our expectations and the become disappointed when things don't turn out the way we want. Then we feel sorry for ourselves.
The only solution is to become unattached. When we give something away we also need to let go of it. Then it's done, and time to start the next project. Don't look back.
