  • Micro Tpu's

    Hi,

    I found a neat Video about a Micro Tpu, a small Core with 3 Coils 100 /50 20 windings.
    Check them out.

At last for BruceTPU it did run for 25 Minutes.

Those 5mm LED's will run off such low current that I don't think the guy in that first video has anything except a big capacitor which ran the LED after it was charged. I've got some ultra caps not much bigger than the one in that video which I've run a 5mm LED overnight.

The Capacitors maybe extend the total running time,
but i think, that one Coil still help to fill them up partially.

I did build myself last Days a U-Shaped core,
where i placed the trigger coil at the middle ~0,1mm,
with thin wire about 40 turns,
the outer windings been bigger, ~0,5mm and 80 turns.
But i placed about 30 left at 3 layers, then 30 right,
then again at the left 20 or 15, and same at the other side.
I did run it with 5V and a 3055 as a JT, but heavy,
what a 10W bulb did shine at a sweet spot.
plus i burned my Pot regular from this few windings and thin wire.

I did rebuild the same Coil as in the Vid last days, but only
could make it to a blinking frequency, when it was on a Source,
had not a big Cap, 1200µf, on it, and picked the small one random.
But for that it's good, and the frequency was good to adjust over the Pot.
I guess, i only had the Ratio not right, and did wind it sloppy.
I only got no time now anymore, to play further around with it.

There already a thread at (Self Running Micro TPU, with closed loop.) about the micro tpu, you should take a look before putting alot of time on that project.

I think, till i read and fight me trough all this Lag, naysayers and offtopics post over there
i build it 50x times by my own, and can find out more.
