  • SPAD Install

Hi ALL , just finished a SPAD install (open source GEET Variant for tractors) the first ever in Australia and have a new educational SPAD Video production coming up to help all. They were a great bunch of farmers and supporters of our open source community, we did some open source training there, here is the manual on how too guys.
    http://www.panaceauniversity.org/spa...english_v2.pdf

Some preview of the unit we did. Will have emissions and fuel savings in the video soon.

Was on a 70HP diesel tractor, now there is not as much Diesel smoke and a lot more RPM . We will need to tune the governor to get the peak savings, will have more info on the vid guys.Unit is fitted close to the engine exhaust manifold as possible to get all the heat energy (Same as the GEET concept) Has an in built reactor made of SS. It has its own water reservoir inbuilt, the water gets heated from the exhaust to create vapors, the engine pulls via vacuum also as the output line is connected via venturi to the air intake.

The gains reported are due to the GEET principles, which why it separates the benefits from Steam injection, you have hot and cold going opposite PAST A REACTOR to create the unique discovery of the GEET and a synthetic gas. Build one and compare it to steam injection, you will find out for your self 10, 00 liters of fuel have been reported by a French farmer to be saved per year from this OPEN SOURCE unit, you can see the French news reports have had the SPAD there for YEARS, a proven unit more in the panacea uni document guys.

If you know farmers please share this will have some figures and more stuff in the up and coming video. Btw they have chem-trials there on their farm and both farmers are sick! Panacea is in the middle of doing a chem-trial production to help, will have more new soon guys.

This Ash is good news -the more experimentation the better. This is part of a note that I wrote earlier in the year:
Here in Northern Germany we are at present harvesting the rape day and night whilst the weather is fine (drying costs are high) I would like to implement fuel reforming on all of the farm machinery but this is just not practical. Our combines are sophisticated pieces of machinery controlled by computers/software. The software even tells us the yield we are getting per hectare! The machinery is very different to that used just a few years ago with the operator exposed to dust and fumes. Now he sits in an air-conditioned environment possibly listening to Beethoven. It is in no way
practical to buy 30 year old farm machinery that has it motor controlled by
screwdrivers and screws and add on a primitive fuel reformer – in fact I was in Wiltshire UK last week also harvesting rape and drove one of these old combines out of a barn where it had lain for several undisturbed years - a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The French who are in the lead with add on fuel reformers have to address the software issue for their products to become viable and that of course goes for all fuel reforming/emulsions. Our vehicles all come now with Obd2 software this must be addressed.
So what about someone coming up with some software for addressing the OBD2 - making tuning "a piece of cake" Perhaps you know of some software that is useful in this area? No useful development will take place until this issue is address
