  • USB Oscilloscope, is this one any good ?

I'm thinking of getting this, can anyone tell me if it will suffice for our sort of low-voltage experiments ?

Deep, looking at those two scopes ( and their prices )..im afraid youre only going to get what you pay for....as there frequency range is VERY limited ( KHz as oppossed to MHz)...

i myself ( and also GOTLUC ) have the Hantek DSO-2150 ... dual channel 60MHz USB, 150MEG samples per second...about £120 or so....best piece of equipment i ever bought ( apart form my function gen that is )

Usually there are many sub-$100 scopes on eBay, real ones, and they should do fine to begin with, 10-20MHz is a really good starting point.

Of course this all depends on where you live (shipping costs), or space requirements, etc...
