    that test may have resulted in quite a jolt, but it was not by far dumb!!! that is a fantastic bit of info you learned.

      I like that idea....(connecting two SG circuits so that one is feeding the other...I haven't seen anything in the "rule book" which states that this can't be done or shouldn't be done...that said...one only needs the proper method....IMHO)...not to sure about the self running part...but who knows....we can master slave transistors, why not complete circuits...LOL...this is me thinking out loud...

        Yes it can be done but not with a standard SSG circuit. You would need to use a recovery windings to keep the two electrically isolated.

        I later built a tri coil ssg, with each coil operating indepednatly and out of phase of each other. Each coil was powered by it's own battery and charged the battery of the coil that was about to pulse next.

        Never perfected it because the coils were too close together so when one coil fires it accidentally triggers the coils on either side of it. Got some interesting scope shots somewhere... I'll see if I can fish them out...

        But it does work in principle
