    Mysterious object travelling 4 times the speed of light.

    Perhaps not directly related to renewable energy but interesting none the less.

    An object emitting a stable radio frequency and appears to be travelling 4 times the speed of light.

    Yet it does seem to be moving – and fast: its apparent sideways velocity is four times the speed of light. Such apparent "superluminal" motion has been seen before in high-speed jets of material squirted out by some black holes. The stuff in these jets is moving towards us at a slight angle and traveling at a fair fraction of the speed of light, and the effects of relativity produce a kind of optical illusion that makes the motion appear superluminal.
    How the hell can there be an optical illusion of traveling at 4 times the speed of light?

        The 'story' read like another delusional episode of Eisenstein-Relativistic-Babble.

        Of course it's not surprising to read that this 'team' claims Hertzian type (by-product), electromagnetic "Radio Waves" traveling faster than light; to claim propagation of another type Wave would require prior knowledge.

        Clearly NO Transverse Electromagnetic Waves (radio wave) were detected by anyone traveling faster than it's limiting factor of (c, light). Or just may-be the radio wave is in the presence of a super-duper, black-hole.

        I'm amazed at the lengths these so called researches will go!

          Oh and they're using the old CO2 chestnut blame game again also: "However, the sun's rotation does not explain all the variations seen, says Russell. An observed long-term increase in the number of these clouds may be due in part to the rise in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels", he says.

            How does one go about measuring (4) times the speed of light..???
