Ahem. There is 101 threads doubting Orbo with no VALID scientific investigation, the mainstream scientific ethos is also. People like me and jib need to work 7 days a week to correct it. So when WE start a thread to post valid scientific results, THAT is what the thread is for.

I must say I agree with this. We all know that even proven OU technologies can get sidestepped - ignored - refuted - on whatever grounds. It's taking it one step too far to anticipate its failure. And I think this particular technology has been conclusively proven - in any event. I'd just very much like to see it applied to something. But I'm entirely satisfied that Ash will take it to that new level.

Can't wait to see more Ashtweth. I'll keep 'looking in' here.

Yes. You can almost always identify a truly world-changing technology by the volume of opposition it generates. Just take the Internet as one example!

The Internet was pretty much invented in the late 60s, but it was almost 40 years before it saw widespread use. People avoided it like the plague, until it was basically everywhere and it was almost impossible to avoid. Nowadays, almost everyone has the Internet and wouldn't know what to do without it.

I think there's a paradigm building here, perhaps being deliberately built by some, that is all about "polarization" regarding Steorn...

We don't have to "choose" one side or the other folks. Especially if someone WANTS you to; perhaps to create schism and animosity in what was previously a tight and *mostly* friendly community (except when we discuss Meyer's techniques hehehe, just kidding ).

Personally, i always choose to support the study of things that COULD be very important to us all. Since we CANT GET OUR UNIVERSITIES to openly study them... Then someone has to. That's usually us folks.

Having been an electronics industry professional for over 25 years, having a background in electronics and especially in Test and Measurement instrumentation, imo what Steorn has shown so far more than warrants this further study. But hey, that's just my opinion

Do i "know" it will prove to be useful in the end? That it can "scale up"? That the effect seen in the eOrbo from December/January is not simply a change in inductance due to the chemical composition of the toroid that allows a very small coil to react the way it does NOW .... but that won't react the same with coils, toroids, and magnets each 8, 20, or 50 times the present mass?

And one thing I DO KNOW: the people who are "sure" Steorn are fakes; don't know for sure either. We "differ" most in that i believe it is valuable and necessary to

@ ALL. Hi All, winding the coils now slight hic up with parts but we are onto it, looks like we still need the instructions also The rotor version will be the first one up, will try batteries then the super caps with a small load and have some footage.

GB, post #125 was explained to Broli , as we know he means well, but it was a request to let REAL tested information flow and not guess and it was stated nicely to him. if the Steorn device performs or fails that's not our concern or claim, our claim is to investigate it for the open source community and report honestly and to make a thread where real information-DIRECT information can flow about the investigation, not complaints, guessing or non license chatter. That was requested kindly
