MOM - Magnet Only Motor Video
This one speaks for itself I think. Hope its not a double post. (I searched)

Looks like a duck, walks like a duck. Is it a duck?
    Looks reasonable. Anyone know more

I thought the video was impressive. I`m still trying to research for more info.

    Zeropointfuel 3d simulations

I have worked on this concept myself and it looks plausible to me, here is my work

    Permanent Magnet Motor V2

they beat me to the punch

    3d Simulation Magnet Motor

it seems they are having a timing issue at about 2:28

      nice work tecknomancer

Yes! That looks quite similar. Very helpful 3D representation to work with. Thanks tecknomancer. You were all over it! Thats what i call Entanglement.

I`m trying to think of a small motor crankshaft conversion that would work to try and replicate. Looks pretty complicated. If only to have unlimited time and resources.

        Permanent Magnet Motor V2

thanks if you look at Permanent Magnet Motor V2 in my video I made it so the cam are adjustable and separated the pistons/magnets to stop any stray fields as the magnets pass each other I still want to build V2 and you got right If only to have unlimited time and resources.

If you watch the video one end of the motor has a belt that goes under the table. The pistons and crankshaft are all attached and timed on the other end.
You can make it all out if you spend time looking at it.
I don't believe it is supposed to be functioning motor I believe it is instead the means to amplify torque through a magnetic assembly. A small motor creating a reaction that produces alot of torque.
Even in that it is pretty impressive.

The biggest problem with it being a pure magnetic motor is all the other attempts at anything like this, or even with inertia or gravity that when the driving mechanism (In the case the pistons) is mechanically attached to the driven mechanism (the center drum) you do not gain power. In most cases it is closing the loop that does you in.

I have always hoped sooner or later we would get a translation of what the guy says.

Oh but I gotta say I do believe a pure magnetic motor is possible, it just won't work the way everybody would expect it to.

          Cheers
          Matt

I agree. Even with an electric motor pulling this magnetic motor,it still could produce more torque and could even produce enough to feed some energy back to the motor through a generator. Many have tried to build pure magnetic motors, but none have succeeded, as far as I know. I have built many myself, and have to say I have got close to self running but have not as of yet succeeded. I have designed one now which I believe will have a good chance of working, but until I build it I won't know for sure.Good Luck. Stealth

This motor was a concept device designed to show a conversion between rotary motion to reciprocation via magnetic coupling which is essential friction free. The motor was driven as stated above by a belt and pulley. However, the reciprocation outriggers were mechanically isolated from the center tumbler.

If you watch carefully, you will see on one bank the rotor shears through the magnetic coupling and the bank stalls. This is because the magnetic connection takes time to establish for each transaction and eventually the speed does not allow sufficient time to connect magnetically.

I believe they were working toward a method of retrofitting existing piston engine blocks with this type of setup - but will never self run this way.
