The man who says he hasn't eaten or drunk for 70 years: Why are eminent doctors taking him seriously? | Mail Online

    No food no drink diet

John Bedini agrees with that, he says in his DVD that the energy from the food you eat wouldn't be enough to run your body, and that you are running on ether energy.

I agree too, I study Kryia Yoga and writtings from Hymalayan Masters, and it's one of the powers you can obtain from God after reaching certain level of vibration through meditation.

See Swami Rama writtings and videos on youtube.
See Sri Yogananda teachings, and his Masters Sri Yukteswar, and the incarnated being that brought this knowledge back to earth a while back : Babaji

Nikola Tesla was initiated in Hindu Yogi knowledge and agreed with that also

Also some Buddhists monks in Tibet, Nepal and Bouthan have this knowledge ...

And also Chineses Chi Gung practisers ...

Thanks and good luck, the road is long to that kind of power, but it's REAL

      Fascinating.

Too bad the doctors left room for doubt, by not allowing the room to be inspected by rationalists.
The word "funding" also makes me itchy in proximity to "truth finding".

So, might this man have mentally switched on a glam in his body, able to take water and carbons, etc, from the air? And of top of that, an advanced recycling system.

Lack of access to other elements might be tied in with experiments I recently read about.
Take distilled water, in a sterilised tube, and leave it in vacume. Apparently, it will be overgrown in little critters before long. Creating life is claimed to be as simple as having some water, and patience.
This if true, in turn would further explain the determined quest of space agencies for water on other planets and moons.

Unfortunately, a hoax on the doctor's part is my first guess here. About the spontanious emerging of new life from a sterile environment, I'd love to learn more. Seems the easiest to replicate experiment, although the sterilization will need to be elaborate, and convincing to a team of rationalists.

It's Breatharianism - not new but surely a difficult path. I've got the book by this author: Jasmuheen - Promoting personal & planetary peace via holistic ecucation

The food industry of course does not want this to become popular
and of course there is bound to be some serious debunkers about. I'm still somewhat on the fence about it but I do know some who have tried this did not survive. It's not for everyone and you truly need a high vibration to even attempt it.
There is no important work, there are only a series of moments to demonstrate your mastery and impeccability. Quote from Almine

          I believe it

LONG TIME AGO i read a book from jasmuheen, it was called live from light...

They pass thru a process that takes 21 days in witch you stop eating and drinking for the first two weeks and than in the last week you just drink some juice or water, tea ...

It's a process in witch theoretically you die and re-born and this develop your pineal glandule where most of the hormones and vitamins are generated in our body, also they look straight to the sun every morning to help this process.

They claim they live from universal energy or prana witch fall from the sky all the time..

In this case, i would like to see a report made by a proper dr. from a proper country doing proper research.
When that dr. claims that it is true, then i will believe this.
Till that time i will keep my theory that the human body is a machine that is DESIGNED to take food and water. The human body is like 75% water. Does the skin of that man not losing swet like we all do?
Long story short. Nice theory, but cannot be true in real life.

There has been some discussion about Prahlad Jani in this thread

I am going to agree with you Stevie. One of these people who say than can accomplish this should be put under observation somewhere other than their homeland.

Another person who went under observation was Hira Ratan Manek, but that also took place in India. Not saying there is anything wrong with scientist there, but there has been some inconsistencies in their reports when it comes to these subjects.

if people can really live without eating or drinking, it would benefit the entire world to know how it is possible. I also understand that these are highly perceptive individuals who are probably not open to all the testing, but it would be nice to get iron clad evidence of these possibilities, even if its not 65 years.

Both Moses and Jesus were recorded as continuing for 40 days and nights without food or water - so the idea of human life continuing without physical sustenance is not a new one.

However we must consider the biochemical processes that depend on food and water in order to continue.

When these processes are stopped, then a need arises for energy to matter conversion. For example, in 70 years a person would shed extremely large quantities of dead skin. That is material. Therefore, there would need to be a mechanism in place that allows for 'Prana', or whatever life energy is being used, to be converted to mass in the necessary form for the biochemical processes to use.

For those of us who believe that energy and matter are the same thing in different forms, this is not a far stretch. Again, looking at Moses and Jesus we have recorded events of such material conversions. In the case of Moses, staffs became living Snakes - and not only by the Power of his God, but also by the power of the magic practicing priests, so they had a similar power. Water also was turned to blood and killed the fish. In Jesus case however, the energy was used to feed thousands. In one case he fed 3,000 and in another 7,000 and the waste recovered after the feedings were greater than the starting materials. So if we are to believe it, we have a fore-glimpse that such things are possible in a future where they are understood and applied.

Even though such things are possible does not prove that this man is not a fraud. He could have received nutrient injections under the guise of taking blood for example. But to believe this line of reasoning would require that we attribute some motive. It is doubtful that an austere person would have any motive (other than fame) to perpetrate such a fraud. But if he is a fraud, then it does not bring any credit to the god he worships. If he is truthful on the other hand, then it would seem he has done his part twice now, exceeding the expected time period known by science in two controlled tests. It would then be up to the viewers to either accept it or not. And perhaps that is the point - we now live in a global society where miracles are no longer thought possible.

It brings to mind Jesus words:
". . .when the Son of man arrives, will he really find the faith on the earth?"
                  Excerpt from Luke 18:1-8

                  What do you believe?

                    Hi All,

I personaly think that this particluar article is a load of "manure", however I have experienced the Chi Gung effect.

A few years ago while I was training in Wing Chun martial arts, my Sifu was describing to the class how he gains strengh and speed from focusing his Chi. We all looked at him a little confused as images of Jedi came to mind , so he said he would show us what he ment. He took a tea towel, wet it with water and rung it out until it was only moist. He then held it one hand, closed his eyes and began to concentrate. Within 30 seconds steam started to rise from the towel and not long after that he couldn't hold it any longer. The tea towel was so hot where he had been holding it that it was as if it was fresh out of the microwave. He explained that just as he had focused the Chi into his hand to create heat, he could focus the Chi into his body to add strength, speed or even to heal (Similar to Reike I guess). We were all very impressed.

@ Harvey, Please take no offence, but most of the incredible things one reads about in the bible (or any religious text for that matter) were simply made up by the "church(s)" to give more creedence to there claims, allowing them to maintain control over the masses and keep the collection trays full.

                    Cheers,

                    Steve

                      @ Steve,

                      No offense taken

I simply remind myself that the first 5 books of the bible were written my Moses long before churches as we know of them existed and it gives pause as to how much that man really accomplished with no gain to himself. Even the Greek translations of those writings were made 300 years before Jesus, and he quoted from them as well.

But I certainly share your disgust (as did Jesus if you'll recall) for any religious group fleecing the flock with their 'collection trays'. Recall that the widow who dropped in the coin of very little value was held in more esteem than those giving much from their excesses. Clearly that is recorded for us not by someone wanting more money from us.

No, those writings are Authored by God but then wrongly misapplied by bad men seeking their own selfish gain.

What is even more disturbing is what they have removed from the scriptures and destroyed for the sake of controlling people.
