I understand, and you are right - this situation calls for some intense citizen action to bring as much heat as possible against the perps in the form of media and public education, and the effort definitely will require more than just a war of words. As you say, brinksmanship will be essential. People who participate will have to be willing to place their boats, their livelihood, and freedom at stake. And what better folks to do that than the fishermen who have already lost their livelihoods and their freedom to trawl the waters. I think that if this movement gets off to a good start, and begins to gather momentum, we are likely to see the perps suddenly plug the leak and douse the flames in advance of the planned event taking place, using this tactic to either cause cancellation of the event, or make the event appear somewhat of a non-event. But even if that occurs, we would still know that the planning and publicizing of the event is what stopped the perps. I like it, Steve. Keep the ideas coming.

Mostly we have no clue how bad this spill is as BP has made sure to use millions of gallons of dispersant to ensure the oil sinks under the surface as such making it appear that the spill is not at bad as it is. Makes us angry!

The more of these good ideas i see the more the corporation charter make sense to me... A charter is a grant of authority or rights, stating that the granter formally recognizes the prerogative of the recipient to exercise the rights specified. Originally the corporation charter enforced accountability and had strict guidelines which policed the corporation's practice.If the corporation failed to act under it, it could no longer renew its charter and practice as a legal corporation.

Today there is no such charter in the same capacity, a corporation is a separate legal entity to the original charter and has its own privileges and liabilities distinct from any of the victims or damages it creates. A detailed analogy of this practice is shown in the documentary

This is all being done specifically in order to profit. The corporation can still practice after this. Originally the corporation charter would of prevented this behavior and regulated it.

Today the lack of the original charter enables Judges with financial ties to influence and approve corporate practices in return for financial rewards, regardless of the impact. This can be seen in the case with BP where a judge had financial ties to approving the drilling.

Other examples can be seen where in the swine flu case with the WHO having financial ties. The same system enables the FDA to be influence by financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry, which was shown in the generation RX documentary. "The FDA very financially involved with Big Pharma. Despite the deaths per year there is no corporation charter to prevent any ties with drug companies to enable secure investigations and practices or to even prevent the regulatory body from un bias influences.

Having no corporation charter in place to prevent governments, judges or any regulatory personal with financial ties to have influence and capacity to profit is why there is irreparable environmental damage in the oil and gas drilling industry.

The dangers of this toxic ground water polluting method called "gas fracturing" are still able to be practiced today. People can be just "compensated". The damage is not reparable. If there is an environmental way, the charter does not enforce it, in the case of the BP spill , they can still profit from what ever clean up method (cheaper etc) and do not have to use the environmental sound alternative if available.

The lack of a corporation charter even allows governments to hand over tax payers monies to corporations and worse.

Eh... I wrote an article to be published at that "OpEd News". It had the concepts of the "Stop the Burning Flotilla" and "Writ of Citizens Arrest" in it. I was going to use the art. as the base link to refer back to at the other places i posted around the web to push the idea.

But they make that article simply disappear; not even listed in the submissions log. So they didn't "reject" it , they pretended they never got it (since i've published there many times, i know the routine well, they usually send an automated email stating it is being considered, immediately after receipt). Remember OpEd News is supposed to be a Progressive Independent alternative news outlet, and they do publish all kinds of "radical" stuff and strong dissent against the government, 9/11 truth stuff, ect. (... although A LOT LESS "radical" stuff than they did a year ago i've noticed, and mainly now a bunch of whining crap that is about two-party polarity nonsense).

They did the very same thing to me back when i tried to publish the "2009 The Year Perpetual Motion Ended" article, too. Anyone who is familiar with my work knows that article was the most "supported" one i'd done... with nothing but mainstream proofs to back it (which was the whole point of it). It did have a section with some "unsupported" stuff (the Michelson Morley experiment done in the "vertical" video) but that was clearly separated from the main points that were fully supported.

I always know when i am on the right track... when i've hit the hottest buttons... when these people pull that crap. So thanks CIA, NSA or who ever you a-holes are; who even censor alternative political blog sites now! More ammo, and i will use it wisely

Don't believe the hype in the MSM What they have done, is fitted a proper containment vessel, that will allow the oil and methane to be collected better. But despite all the DRAMA in the news, they CLEARLY KNEW that there were side fissures that are leaking the oil and gas... As stated over three weeks ago by Senator Bill Nelson.

So it is pretty odd, that they knew this all along, but made some kind of TV mini-series over it. To me, it was just a excuse to blab over and over that "BP solved it". That is not true at all. It is not even: "The end of the beginning" yet, as old Winston Churchill once said.

BUT IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These fissures come from failures in the pipe walls, somewhere beneath the surface of the sea bed. The well pipe travels TWO MILES DOWN from the sea bed, through mostly solid rock. The cracks in the pipe wall, somewhere relatively close to the sea bed, allow the gas and oil to escape (the pressure is up to 70k PSI), and it then comes through the sediment and out into the ocean. So the pipe itself, where it meets the pocket 2 miles below the sea bed, it the ONLY SOURCE for the oil and gas.

This may seem stupid but there is a flange right below the cut removing the bolts and grind the welded seam would allow a open valve to be bolted to the flange if it could be guided over it. why not
