Hi,

I found a really good newsletter about reducing your energy costs, i now want to get solar panels on my home but all the profesionals are quoting 8k min to get them installed. does this sound right?

Solar panels are really expensive if you are going to power a conventional house. You have to be able to cut your energy needs substanially to benefit from total solar. You will need to insulate better,reduce or eliminate all unnecessary electric power consumption, and use solar heated water. Water heating, heating and cooling, and cooking contribute to most of our energy use. Good Luck. Stealth
