Could "directed-energy weapons" be used to stop oil spil??

Hi all,

I was just wondering wether or not particle beams could be used to shut off the oil well currently creating a disaster in the Mexican Gulf.

Since we know that cancer can be treated using several radiation beams from different angles that come together at one focus "burn" point, it may be possible to use particle beams or something like that to melt an area of sand or other material somewhere along the well pipe, which may be able to stop the oil flow.

What do you guys think?

That would assume that they're really serious about stopping the flow.
Someone sent me an email suggesting that they put a wedding ring around the pipe, which would immediately stop it from putting out.

They put saltwater on it except concrete knowing it would blow up.
Wouldn´t surprise me if they really have something to stop it already in place there. This is sabotage at the highest level.

They absolutely do not want to stop the flow. If you listen to the BP people they always say we recovered. That is exactly the reason they didn't have a plan to stop the oil. Not one of these companies have that plan if they did they would surely step up and stop the problem with this well.
They only care to capture the oil and nothing else. They are refusing to listen to even our own government now and have used Judges to block the moratorium
Our own president put in place because not one of the companies has a plan in case of a leak that is not covered by the supposed auto shut of valve they have in place. None of those valves will ever work and they are for show. The pressures that would be there would either break the valve or blow the entire mechanism apart that is evident by the trouble they are having now by trying to cap the stem.
If they were serious about stopping the flow they could use an expandable foam type of insulation through a long pipe going back to the source breach and let the foam do what it does and expand all the way out of the hole we poked into this bag of oil. Just like what happens when a pore gets blocked in our own bodies.
They just don't want to plug this hole for some reason,(*****MONEY******). At that end when do they balance the damage that is being done to many innocent peoples lives and the environment? At some point it would be pointless and more costly to not plug it. They must shut it off then reform a good plan to be able to shut it off in case of a breach of the tube.
As we can see the corporations own us and throw a pittance at us to quiet the rage that is building over this corporation that didn't have a basic plan to handle a leak such as this. The rage is building more and more and it is simply that they could shut it off but they want the money from the sale. They care not about our environment and care less about the people who are getting ruined in the process.
