Even if the device does work in some form or another, it still has the smell of scam emanating from it, just due to the methodology which the whole thing is proceeding by.
The guys running the show are making a fine muddling mess of things by doing it this way.
The price of the annual license is almost $800 Cdn which buys a lot of electricity, plus the cost of actually building a functional device for home use which would cost even more.
So it is just another gatekeeper type organization which seeks cash that I am so far seeing.
Working or not, their ethic is f'kd up.
It is fine for them to receive some benefit from their work, so if their device really is a functional concept, then mass produce the thing, or make the license fee so cheap (like 100 dollars per year) that they will still make millions due to the sheer volume of the respondents.
That would make far more sense.

Link to the most respected replicator...

Village of the Banned - ClaNZer dumps Steorn!

So there you have it. I guess the actual key here is "Annual license".

Oh and my question to Ash is still "can you show us the NDA or is that under the NDA's own agreement?"

Would me more interesting if the principle was investigated rather than having a discussion of who's right or wrong.

I would also suggest not to upset the panacea bocaf crew if you treasure your house, they can send a hurricane your way.

          What?

Oh ok I see how it is then. I have come up against Ash before. I am not bashing Ash. I am asking questions twords him. So just asking questions would get a storms response? I see how his organization operates if what you say is true.

I have never know Ash to be like that EVER. He might get misled sometimes but I have never ever seen him become like the very institution he hates so much.

If the current drop when we add load. So what? Anyone can do it too using the same trick that I do.
even if they actually have no BEMF in the drive coils, what does that have to do with free energy? there are losses of energy like all other motors, they cannot recycle again the energy that was puted in the system!

if the generator coils have BEMF to, when onload, the motor will slow down, and will generate just a small amount of energy compared with what is being the input!

Since there's so few real news regarding Steorn, I thought this was worthy of a separate post:

"Couldn't Replicate Claimed Effect; No Longer Involved

On May 13, 2010 2:02 AM, Sean CLaNZeR, one of the most respected replicators in the world, and a key player under NDA with Steorn:

                Hi Sterling

At the moment I have moved away from Steorn and the SKDB and I am no longer involved with replicating their claims.

Over the last 3 years behind the scenes in the SKDB we have gone from Stop Start Orbo to PM-Orbo to E-Orbo and now SS-Orbo.

I spent a lot of time over the years trying to replicate PM-Orbo (Permanent Magnet) with no success of a self runner, then I put a huge amount of time and money into the E-Orbo (Electromagnetic) which never showed a gain.

The latest replication I did was on Steorn's SS-Orbo (Solid State) and I logged a lot of data using a PC scope.
Instantly after following Steorns design and finishing the build the scope shots and data were coming out the same as Steorns. They claim this anomaly within the data shows a gain and if this is indeed a gain, then it is actually very easy for others to replicate.

The SKDB area where the long time members reside is seperate from the new paying community, so I have no idea how far they have gone with the Orbo Technology but I know in the area where I was, that there have been no self sustaining replications of Steorn's Technology.

I will not go into the reasons I left the SKDB, but lets just say I find Steorn's ways of working with members very frustrating as do many others.

So back onto public claims for me, starting with Bob Boyce's Hex Controller.

                Cheers"

                  I am no Hero...

Or anything of that kind. I am a simple man that self educated himself to know what is logical and what is not. From what I can tell there is no logical assumptions one could come to if they are using money to divide the interest into a self interest situation.

What I have seen and to tell you the truth from the outside there is no proof and the NDA keeps them from saying if there is proof and the explanation of that proof as to how they came to the results. This means they are using peoples vanity of being taken in the scam to keep them quiet. Otherwise why would they not release the science behind it to the public? They could still make a device to sell to the masses because not everyone has the skills to make a device safely. So there has to be another reason for the wall of silence. If it is scientific why not disclose it like any other scientific discovery has been done?

What exactly do we do here anyways. We don't limit others to hear our discoveries because thats what got us here in the first place. We are tired of deception and hiding the truth and we seek that truth in earnest. Not because we want to make money but because we as the human race needs this. Let them scam people but don't fall for it yourself. Anyone can see that this is dubious at best because they hide behind a NDA. Even if someone found it false they couldn't say so and prove it. They are using contracts and contract law to hide behind and I would like to reassert to the community to not waste time on this I have access and you don't BS.

An annual fee is an income source or stream that they promised to their share holders. A return on their investment and a wall of silence to hide the facts.

Do you really believe that Steorn could stay in business by collecting 419 Euros a year from a few hundred or maybe a thousand people? That kind of money wouldn't even pay the CEOs salaries.

Steorn will make their money by licensing Orbo technology to large firms, like Siemens and Hitachi.

                      What technology?

The people that are paying are designing the system and nothing is in anything I hear that they are gonna reimburse the person who helps them engineer their technology. It says clearly that they have no technology at all.

No they borrowed millions of dollars and are trying to make the payments.

                              its that a threat?

as you can see, there's allready a thread to investigate the principle, with a couple of pages without meaning to that purpose!

this thread is not to discuss who's right or wrong, but to examine the facts that guided steorn so far, everyone is free to talk what they think of steorn here!

and we are free to do that! for me, i dont need proof of concept to see lies everywere, the fact that the most respected replicator is abandon the orbo research because he didnt found any gain tells a lot about this!

if you want to speculate about steorn, this is the wright thread, but please if you want to investigate the principle, go to the other one!

                              dont get off topic here...

I think some of you are missing the point as to what Ash is trying to do here. He has spent the money to get all the info available to try to replicate the technology. He has not asked anyone to pitch in to help. I am not sure what info he will be able to share due to the NDA but I am quite certain that if he will let us know if the technology works or not. And for that I say thank-you Ash.

If the technology doesn't work or he is unable to replicate it I'm sure he will tell us that also.
