  • Thank you and I'll need to signup over there. I believe that it may be a step up transformer, but I have to start somewhere. If this does nothing but step up the MOT then I will learn from that too. I look forward to reading the other thread and seeing what others have done and trying add what I can.

    • Hello Friends energy forum

      I love the theme kapagen

but took three weeks, trying to light a lamp, and I have not gotten

I tried everything, diode, microwave transformer, grounding, and I consegir nothing even longer for despair I placed a 6-volt lamp, and is illuminated but feel sad to see it, hehehehehe

the desperation led me to use trial and error will

and finally e coseguido 1000w light a lamp, but the transformer gets very hot, the spark gap, it sounds very intense but at least I have received a smile to my face, jejejejeje

leave here the level of modoficacion, for some desperate like me

this test, it makes me think that the transformer and capacitor diode work perfectly

Some of you have worked on kapagen to the amendment?

I really like your setup kapagen
I have had trouble starting mine, but at least I got to light a lamp, looking at your pictures I see that the capacitor is of considerable size, is how many micro farads?

        • Thank you kindly for you kind words. I'm using a 1 uF 2100 VAC capacitor. They come out of the microwave. It is somewhat of a standard size in older microwaves.

          • hello friend Jiffycoil

ok friend, I also am using a very Codensa parachute, has the same capacity as yours, but yours has the naked eye is larger

I as I said above I have not turn on the lamp I am using for 1000 watts, with a single capacitor 1mf, so I placed three condesadore in parallel, and so I have come to light, I've also changed the distance of Picasa land, and placed, at 2 feet away, which has improved brightness

I think one of the problems I had is that the soil is wet, after it has rained much here

thanks for your reply and good luck with your work, I see you're a thin person on the job

            • Hello Ismael 34,
Thank you again my friend for the kind words. The light board I show in the photographs has 10-100 watt bulbs, and in tests both Kapgen generators which I have built light all the bulbs. I'm happy for your success and you may be correct about the wet ground causing problems for your tests. I look forward to my tests. I'm awaiting arrival of the Luxmeter and then I will be ready to begin.

Please I want you to send me the the names of the all the components used to build kapagen. I have not been able to identify some I could see the microwave oven transformer, diode and capacitor but some other items I cannot recognize. my email address is dejiola2001@aol.com

                      • Hello Dejiola2001,
All of the build information I used is on this page.

                        http://jnaudin.free.fr/kapagen/k32.gif

As far as hardware goes with the build you have to source whats available to you. For example the JLN Labs build uses Epco surge arrestors across the terminals on each light bulb. I could not source those so I got as close as I could with another brand. With building the coil I think no two builders coils are going to be the same. If you go to the page I attached you will see a build list at the bottom left corner.

                        Cheers

                        • Resonance: The Key

                          Hi all,

Please note that the following are based only on my personal research and experience.

My main focus on all this has been the self feeding part of the device. But I’ll get back to that at a later date.

There is no doubt that Tariel Kapanadze's invention is based on Tesla's work with resonating coils such as the "Tesla Coil".

                          For now let’s examine resonance.

I feel that lighting incandescent light bulbs are just sending fellow researchers in the wrong direction and not at all a special case.

A Closer Look At The Mighty Incandescent Light Bulb:
I have successfully lit a range of these 240 volt bulbs ranging from twenty watt to 100 watt using around 5 to 10kv minus the spark gap, reversed Tesla coil and grounding.
I must admit they didn’t all light to full strength but they light all the same.
This of course should be impossible to do when considering the fact that my HV input is pumping out hardly any ampere sufficient enough to do the job.

The trick to this was to manually adjust the frequency of my HV input to the resonance of the filament in the bulb.
Let’s not forget that the filaments in most bulbs of this type are of a coil configuration.
Basic Tesla resonance if you ask me.

                          The Ground Circuit:
I also found that by adding the ground connections to the circuit had the ground acting like an automatic frequency adjuster where the high frequency of my HV input would gradually drop until it reached the filament resonance frequency and therefore lighting the bulb.

I believe Tesla used this method in much the same way and for much the same reasons.

I have taken this method further by replacing the bulbs with coils and analyzing the resonant frequency. This has given me a unique way to finely tuning my coils much the same way I tune my guitar strings or to find an existing coils resonant frequency.

Why the ground component acts this way is anyone’s guess and worth investigating.
I believe Tariel Kapanadze has either worked this out or got his Tesla coils fine tuned since his latest device now only uses one ground which is utilized by the 220v AC output part of his device.

                          The Reversed Tesla Coil:
Using the ground circuit mentioned above I have constructed a finely tuned Tesla coil where both the primary and secondary coils resonate at the same frequency. When this is achieved or close to it the Tesla coil can be efficiently used in normal or reversed configuration.
This is provided your HV source is feeding it with the correct frequency.

My finely tuned Tesla coil now allowed me to do away with the spark gap and grounding all together. This is very imprtant for the self feeding part of my setup. This begged me to ask the question.

Was Tariel Kapanadze’s original device only using the ground component to synchronize the resonance of the primary and secondary coils?

I believe Tariel Kapanadze's device to be very simple and based on well known principals.

Hope this info helps you in your search to deciphering the Tariel Kapanadze Generator.

                          • Would show us your schematic diagram ?

                            To: ZincFold

If you success to replicate the Kapanadze set-up,
would show us schematic diagram as well as photo of your device.
It will be very helpful to other people to replicate the device.
Is is really self running device ?
                            Thank you.

                            • Thank you for posting this. I'm in the middle of testing my replication and appreciate hearing and seeing what others have done. I would love to see the replication that you used in your experiments. Having only details and images of what others have done to base replications on, seeing others work helps all who experiment. Do you also have details of watts in and watts out? Seeing those numbers would be very helpful so I can gauge your results with mine and the others who have experimented with the Kapagen generator. I would love to see the Tesla coil you talk about in the "The Reversed Tesla Coil" segment of your post. Being an old Tesla coil builder I love to see other coils. We can learn so much from seeing what others have done.

                              • My Schematic

                                Hi all,

Please note that when I refer to my self feeding circuits that I'm not claiming to have a self powered system.
Getting this device self feeding is my main focus and is what I'm currently working on.

Upon request I provide you with one of my earlier schematics based on my approach to deciphering the Tariel Kapanadze Generator.
I haven’t the time lately to draw up my current setup due to constant tweaks and changes.
I am also held up with having to rebuild my inverter circuit which got fried when I made modifications to it and forgot to drain the capacitor bank before reconnecting it.
That certainly got me hopping mad since it look me a good month and a half to get working right.
I suppose I really should get a good nights’ sleep for concentration sake.
Anyway hope this gets some of your creative juices flowing.

                                Happy Tinkering.
