YouTube - LEGO perpetual motion
Me, I'm DONE with smooth bearing, no-load supposed perpetual motion machines. Even if they exist, they're no good for anything. Just build a windmill, make the world a greener place. Raw power is to be shown, or not worthy of further research.Last edited by Cloxxki; 07-19-2010, 07:11 AM.

This is because a magnet, which is attracted to a coil because current is flowing in one direction through the coil, will induce in that coil a counter EMF which makes current flow in the opposite direction.
This guy is doing nothing more than taking advantage of that property. As the magnet passes the coil, it builds up a charge. When the magnet gets at the right spot, the ends of the coil are shorted together by the transistor and current flows in a direction that pushes the magnet away from the coil.
You could do the same with a commutator, or even a reed switch if the coils were small enough.
It would be interesting to see just how much power could be generated by this phenomenon.

HI everyone:
I am not aware of other pumping mechanism of oscillators, other than the direct force and/or the change of center of mass decreasing the trajectory on the way up of the bob.
I would love to see a battery robot mimicking the child pumping.
After passing the 180º amplitude, the pumping will be to overcome friction and accelerate, only, restoring force will bring the weight back to the top.
Probably a load could be installed in the shaft to charge the same batteries that are powering the robot.
Co generative swing pumping.
I think I have the mimic using rotating cylinders magnets and sliding arms.

I believe that the guy talk the true about the transistor (lego video)
If the resistance losses of the wire and transistor are lower than the attraction energy their might be real gain in energy per cycle!!!
He created two coils and used a bipolar transistor i guess than he used a schematic like those for driving flyback transformer with two coils on it.
you must just try the polarization ...
I'm gona try it here. I have some 100 magnets.
This way at very high rpm there could be a lot of gain in energy.
Maybe its possible to make it very big and make it very very over efficient.
Seems to me what steorn is doing!

Did you guy's even look at my post #154? He has a hidden capacitor underneath the board and the fan motor is connected. There is still something to it but he is not very clear. If he can deceive you in the first video then he has to go a lot further in proving anything else.
@Cloxxki. I agree, no more about magnet stuff, just the gravity wheel.Last edited by Zooty; 07-19-2010, 01:51 PM.

perfect generator with grav wheel
It seems that some of you have not even heard of "thane c heins" and his lenz defiying generator on youtube. I did replicate this device and believe me or not, it does work. If anyone has heard of "ken rauen" who was an advisor for the peswiki site, he now lives in Lubbock, TX just a few minutes away and he came over a few months ago for a demo. His final words were, "There is something there, something that cannot be easily explained with conventional physics". Anyways, I believe that it is a great generator that would not reflect back to the prime mover for this gravity wheel.

Forgot to mention that I am replicating this as we speak, on the small scale of course. The radius of mine is 20cm as opposed to his 1120cm(i think). As far as I can tell, we can't use simple math to scale it down. What I calculated was that my 40cm diameter wheel should have 13 pounds attached........not even going to try that. So i will start with about 1 pound. Also I am going to try one wheel on the outer edge of the 60 degree wedge. The weight of the one driving wheel is proportional to his designs, being 1/3 of weight that is driven.

Well I must say that my first hand experience vs that pdf document are contradictory. My prime mover has always been a DC motor, because I have never owed a variac variable transformer to vary the RPM of an AC motor, so I had no choice but to use DC current. I have heard many people say that the only reason that his generator shows anything strange is because of the AC driving motor, these are of course the people who have not replicated it. Always remember, people can have many theories, as they always have. People will only believe what they want to believe, even when the evidince says otherwise.
