Pretty strong disdain there MJ. I think if you looked hard enough you'd find facets of the Republican AND Democrat parties that despise the Neo-Con (and Liberal) penchant for war on everything and empire building. Before the Republican party co-opted the movement by putting they're preferred faces in the frames with various versions of the Tea Party, you'd find Ron Paul and his supporters as the basis and impetus for, dare I say, most of the Tea Party movement. Every time I've checked, Ron Paul and those who support him are for fiscal restraint, ending the privately-owned and secretive Federal Reserve, stopping all these baseless wars, ending government intrusion into our everyday lives, bringing us back from the 135 countries our troops are flung into, etc, etc, and so on. Most of the Tea Party members are voting for the "other guy" whether that guy/gal is a Republican or a Democrat as long as he/she is not a current office holder.

You shouldn't paint with such a wide brush...

Create false inflation so it crash. Allow media like Fox News to dominate the discussion. Alter history in text books. Spend trillions of unmarked dollars in the military industrial complex, and on, and on, and on....
But that what uneducated cultists do. They expect different results from doing the same thing over and over.

Ya thats brilliant another round of cookoo dumb asses running this country. Thats just what we need.
That will surly bring the doom and gloom in. If you think the current situation is bad or getting worse thats just what you need. Buffoon's on the loose.

I'll tell ya the truth I am kinda hoping you goof ball conspiracy nuts are telling the truth about the impending government kill off of its citizens. And I hope its the truth.
We need less people. Alot less. The ground needs fertilized and most of ya'll really need to get out of the business of having kids. Cause god can't help the generation of tea bag children that are coming.

      Anybody seen "Idiocracy" the movie

Sign me up I am in for some extermination. I wanna help!!!!!

Before I leave I'll ask again...

And while were at it... What percentage of IP carriers are located in the united states. How many service providers are world wide and what percentage of them are US?
How much of the US economy is based on the Internet?

See if you would get out of your little world and look up a few facts every now and then (And that is not the **** Alex Jones is selling) you might realize what a large delima it would be to even consider shutting down the Internet. It would be cheaper to repair it after it had been attacked.

I'll put flowers next to your corpse, I promise..

      @Matthew Jones

I have been out of the field for a few years now, so I may be totally wrong and hope someone will correct me if wrong.

"Yes" The internet an be shut down. DNS or Domain Name Servers are machines holding cross reference tables that reference URL's to actual network and machine location. If I remember there were like 14 main DNS servers and all of the rest were synchronized to these. This is why if you were to register a new Domain it could take up to 72 hours before anyone in the world could know of it. Our DNS's would update to a primary on a once a day basis. Okay, no DNS, you have problems, big problems. Now also there are main computers supporting the backbone which feed all the spider legs off of there high speed connections. No backbone servers, no internet. I would say based on what I knew some time back, shutting it done could be done in less than one hour.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong or out of date.

        Mr. Jones,
Please do not get me wrong and think I am some right wing nut job. Dont you think that would be the same as being a total leftist socialist? I bring up the tea part only for the reason of example and showing that if someone is going against what is being shovel fed to us they are labels fringe cooks. And I believe before politicians starting curiously showing up to these events it was mothers, fathers, veterans, SMALL business owners. Not bureaucrats, corporate ceo's and politicians.
I believe the big sow is already being run by a bunch of coocoo dumbasses dont you?
And you think youre up for some extermination? you ever had some bombs come down a little too close for comfort? Ever been charging through a city on fire? Ever pulled a trigger when it was just you and another man face to face? When it was him or you? I would almost bet not sir. If you have, then why would you EVER talk of extermination of your own folks? Yes the masses are pretty ignorant. I think most on here are at least looking for something different. But most just absolutely believe what was taught to them in our schools.
You can say war is useless and get off on a soap box. thats for another thread. Talk of extermination if you wish, hell be the first to pull the trigger. Its only going to take one domino to get the whole thing falling down around your safe little head. If I do fall and you come to lay flowers just remember I was fighting for something that I believe in. And I didnt just sit and wait for them to come and get me. Oh and by the you are a Senior Member of a free energy web site that deals in suppressed technology and conspiracies against everyday people with great ideas. You think you're not on a list somewhere? LOL

Bingo!!! Some one with some info. That an old number though 19 known US servers 172 world wide. But its not as easy as just shutting them down. One location can be backed up as much 50 times. Infinitely redundant is the name. And it is not that easy to shut down. At least thats what I gather from reading for a couple of hours.
This is why Leiberman is first proposing a study to find out if it is possible. What effects it would have. How shutting it down would effect everything.

But see, thats what the original post was about. Then it evolved into this end of the world completely ludicrous discussion. Hurra for the tea party and its cult following. BS politics

Just because some idiot politician wants to look into the possibility well we have to run to the hills and get our guns. BS

See so why can't we seem to dig up info, start petition, make generic letter to send off, hell, riot in DC I don't care. But these type of post always turn in to this warning of the boogy man.

All you have to do is look into the proposed legislation of the past by Leiberman and you'll see how far he gets with his nonsense. Thats education, thats the truth, thats power. Not the fear mongering thats going on.
Our government is this way because of people who would rather take there guns and money and go in the woods and cry foul instead of going to washington (in lower case) and doing something about it. A pack of COWARDS most of them are. Ya thats right COWARDS. The constitution says its our DUTY to revolt. Jefferson new this type of government would arise sooner or later he wrote it a letter to Adams. He called it a Corporate Imperialism. He railed against capitalism.

Oh ya the tea party The Big Social Wonder. Heres some facts already studied by polling groups.
"How should should we fix the deficit" Stop waistfull spending was the number one answer. I don't know was the second.
"What do we do about Social Security". Nothing was the primary answer

You think you're not on a list somewhere? LOL
Since 1992. I have already told by the local power company that what I do will not make it.
See reason I say these thing is not to insult, but to show how ridiculous the whole "Conspiracy" movement is. If it exists most people wouldn't know who included the so called truth movement. They don't have a clue.
You ever caught a snake. You wave the left hand rapidly so they look at it, then you grab them with the right.
Thats the same tactic. The same thing is going on right now. People crying about government and this grand conspiracy. All the while the true criminals are stealing you blind. But where are they, who are they.

Its only going to take one domino to get the whole thing falling down around your safe little head.
My head is not safe. I am not comfortable with the way things are. I do not support my government. I did just like ever other cooperation between 2000 and 2008 did. I kept my money with loop holes. I did my homework and watched what was going on.

Started working with Free Energy. Then I bought land. Built a good house. I make my own power. I am harvesting my own organic food. I am more than capable of hunting. Soon I'll have fuel via Sugar beats and still. I'll be growing my own fish and chicken.

So these peoples who are taking over the world don't effect me. And the cry babies who would rather cry about grand conspiracy instead of actually doing something are just worthless trash. And that includes the ones who don't gather facts for themselves. A bunch of nonsense. Fear mongering nonsense.
Especially in todays times when information is easy to get.

I was real mad about the oil spill. Then I looked into the facts. Prior to George Bush the oil companies had alot of regulation. He ended that. Want to know how many gulf coast states voted for him an didn't pay attention to status of the regulatory laws. HMMM . Want to know how many states voted for him that are now drinking water poisoned by the natural gas companies drilling. Little to no sympathy there either.
You reap what you sow. Period...

I like to see action. I like to see thing change. I like to see people attempt the different.
But preaching a little bit f common sense and and whole lotta fear is just a joke. And thats what happens in this forum ever when ever a discussion starts like this.

            Shaking things up...a bit

Shakin things up is good mr. jones. Im up for it.
Started on the "free energy" a little later than most. I too have land, efficient house, food storage, water collection, filtration.....and the list can go on. Hunting is second nature where we come from. From your accent I bet for you too. So im not worried either, they are going to do what they are going to do whether I post it here or not.
Im not fear mongering. Maybee a little Paul Reveering, (they're comming, they're comming) but not instilling fear in folks. But a little fear can wake you up, get your bearings, and make you see clearly. The people SHOULD be scared Mr. Jones. There is an elephant in the room!
Im very glad you are prepared. But if you are that prepared then why am I a crazy fear-monger? You being almost totally self sufficient, off grid, well prepared and intelligent human being, is considered crazy by some "winger" in some think-tank in DC. YOU are the enemy Mr. Jones. To them. Not to me, my friend, I respect your work and really read the posts and info you supply to me and others in this forum. Thank you much for your insight. We are in this together whether you think so or not. It doesnt matter who you vote for. The system is broken, What gets put up in its place is whats important.
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

I have been studying class action and mandates, its amazing what PEOPLE power can do AND HAS DONE if you get the signatures..

Cheney made the clean air and water act exempt from oil and natural gas drilling...

Enter gas lands YouTube - GASLAND Trailer 2010
YOUR USA Ground water is polluted with natural gas due to the chemical factoring processes used in the states.. AND THERE IS NO LAW FROM PREVENTING THIS, OR A PEOPLE POLICED CORPORATION CHARTER... more drilling is on the way, the same charter that we prose to fix the gulf situation is on the Panacea site (can prevent it from ever being ABLE to happen, corporation charter NEED VOTES OR BYE BYE) can stop the POWERS who choose to act and have the authority to with out PEOPLE CONSENT for the INTERNET filter or what ever etc.

name email and county..believe it that a MANDATE can start as easily as that...

name email and county..believe it that a MANDATE can start as easily as that...

name email and county..believe it that a MANDATE can start as easily as that...

You can PROTEST or make a class action and mandate WHICH WORKS..simple...

IF YOU PROTEST , it should be AN ADVERTISEMENT TO GET SIGNATURES..... Not angry megaphone noise...

EVEN INDEPENDENT FILM MAKERS SHOULD ADVERTISE TO BE ABLE TO MAKE NAME EMAIL AND COUNTRY FOR CLASS ACTION. All Panacea productions will now have this option, old videos are now to be taken down and re done. Time to get medieval on Bilderberg.. The people in the energetic forum are good people, who the hell should be allowed to think they have the right to shut their internet down.

                  Electric Power Kill Switch

Transmission lines, when interconnected with each other, become high voltage transmission networks. In the US, these are typically referred to as "power grids" or sometimes simply as "the grid". North America has three major grids: The Western Interconnection; The Eastern Interconnection and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (or ERCOT) grid.

If supply and demand are not in balance, generation plants and transmission equipment can shut down which, in the worst cases, can lead to a major regional blackout, such as occurred in California and the US Northwest in 1996 and in the US Northeast in 1965, 1977 and 2003. To reduce the risk of such failures, electric transmission networks are interconnected into regional, national or continental wide networks thereby providing multiple redundant alternate routes for power to flow should (weather or equipment) failures occur.

If people can get this working, interfaced to USB, i could program a communications protocol with 1024bit blowfish encryption with transport similar to TCP.

Thank you for the diagram. Looks pretty straight forward and is just a couple of audio amps., one the transmitter and one the receiver. I think we could reduce this to a single chip per unit. Might just give it a shot, yer there is a complete circuit so the range might be very limited as the receiver will need to be close.

Oh, also the receiver, the last tube, I think a ground symbol is missing on the bottom of the cathode components.

Anyway I knew there must be some info out there, although maybe not the whole truth. I dumped my internet security books about a year ago to get shelf space so I did the best I could.

Also I do believe it only as hard to shut down as to shut off the back bone servers. Now one flaw I see is that Europe et.al. would need to do the same. If not they would be up and running, just would not complete some routes, all those 'time to live' limits would expire. Backups, fine, but a backup is workless if you can not get to it and what I understand is we may be more concerned with current events rather than old?

@ krzysiek - the leaked Oz document should be on wikileaks. Also, it is not in place, the Aussie government wants to put it in place.

Personally, the “internet kill switch”, the Aussie filter (not firewall as that would be the Chinese red firewall), plus the Swedish bill to monitor the whole internet are all similar.

Ignorant control freaks, trying to control the genie that was let loose.

Problem is that very bright people designed and built the internet, from the ground up.

The reality is this: the red firewall leaks like a sieve, the Aussie filter will be easily circumvented.

The Swedish will have to monitor so much data, that they will be taken to the cleaners by the contractors who will be brought in to set up the systems.

The internet kill switch is more like a couple of million switches spread across thousands of companies (not including everything outside the USA). It’s a case of unknown needles in unknown haystacks, to figure out which ones can be turn off and which one’s they can’t turnoff.

Yep, I heard about it because someone got the idea to make and sell the drink in the film - Brawndo. When I went looking for reviews (of the film) I came across one that stated it didn’t do well in focus group showings in the US, the people in the groups didn’t understand what the film was about.

                            @ DrStiffler + Matthew Jones

On DNS, years ago it was the case that everyone needed to access the root domain servers in the USA.

Today Europe and Asia run their own root servers, they still get information from the one’s in the US. The non US servers are using Anycast (for those who don't know: in its simple’s form, it's like spoofing the ip addresses of the US servers), so all traffic in those area hit their nearest servers. People in Europe will hit European servers, in Asia - Asian server.

The US servers could all go down and the rest of the world will sill continue on (as long as a cache is maintained on the non US servers - which is the point of the non US servers anyway).

One thing to remember, is that DNS is mainly for use by humans - so that they don’t have to remember IP addresses (think of it like a physical phone book, or the phone book on your cell/mobile phone - it works in the same way, just with a hell of a lot more information).

Which means the internet will work fine without DNS, you just have to remember to find out what the ip address of your favourite sites are and make a note of them.

On a different note, there are about 300 main pops (point of presents) around the world some of them are listed here: List of Internet exchange points by size - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The biggest exchange to note is in Holland, which connects up 351 carriers, lots of them being from Asia.

@ Zooty - No point in reinventing the wheel - IPSEC works, the problem is a simple implementation.

                              Ground Radio

This is bringing back some old memories from way back. I experimented with a similar system back in the 60's that was successful, as I recall up to about 5 miles or so. Wish I could remember the details of the way we had it set up. Unfortunately my lab notes were destroyed in a fire a few years later and I had not even thought about it since.
The French underground used a closely related communications system back during WW2 and as I recall the Nazis never caught on to what they were doing. As they were listening with their triangulation systems above ground. The same systems will work under water too. Do a patent search for the name James H. Rogers and pay close attention to his under ground antenna systems. All of his patents of this nature were between 1917-1924 so you might want to disregard the references to the spark gap transmitters though.

Has anyone ever come across circuits which use Signal/Quantum non-locality to communicate with each other.
