It was after recently reading Patrick Kelly's latest update for these devices where it is deemed NMR plays the role of consuming the Ferrous material as fuel.

My reason for this post. I first trawled the web to find out the NMR of Fe 56.
This apparently is 3.237778,Mhz but this value is related to magnetic field strength. The field strength being 2.35 Tesla. If one increases the field strength so increases the Resonant frequency.
Looking at it in the other direction, Global magnetic field strength taken as an average is around 50 micro Tesla and at that field strength the NMR of Fe56 is only 68Hz!!!!

With this in mind there is always going to be a shift in field strength due to the alternating nature of the Bias coil. It makes me wonder whether a softly softly approach is the answer?

It may also be the reason why someone quoted the phrase "you find the target, but it moves"

This was a little museing on my part but it might spark an idea, padon the pun!!!

Technical data provided by webelements.com and Geotech-LRLs-info-NMR

Keep banging the rocks one and all!!!

How did you find it ? I was searching for this information and couldn't spot any useful data.

    • Resonant frequencies.

      Hi All,

I found the first part of resonant frequencies of elements in a Metal Detecting website. Their specific goal was Gold.

There are a couple of paragraphs worth reading about the relationship between the resonant frequency and magnetic fieldstrength.

Geotech - Technology for Treasure Hunting

From there, a link is found to Webelements that gives the specific details of every element in the periodic table.

My reason for bringing this topic forward, and this is an assumption on my part. Surely the field strength will change dramtically as the degredation of the Iron occurs. This will then change the resonant frequency of the material.

      Thoughts/comments gratefully recieved.

      Graham.

Not necessary. For a thick core the inner part is somehow shielded by the outer part so the field strength is not the same everywhere.

On a different note, the middle schematic seems to show a pair of Iron cores seperated by a ring. Could this ring be Copper? Per Patrick Kelly's latest update for his Ebook. Could it be that Copper is used for the fuel? The iron cores ensuring a greater flux being generated to cut the pickup coils?

It is also good to see that there seems to be more info being shared regarding the control circuitry for these devices!!!

          • SR 193 Typo.

Sorry all, I tried to edit my misteak, as I said I am new to all this stuff!!!

First sentence should read "Aluminium" supports. Not wooden!!!

            • More Museing!

Has anyone noticed similarities between this apparatus and Floyd Sweet's VTA?

We have a 50hz bias, Floyd's device used a conditioned magnet to provide this. Our device has an external bias field applied.

The only thing that, as I see it, we are missing one of the axis coils. Floyd's VTA had coils placed at 90 deg axis to each other.

From all that I have read over the many years of my own research our mysterious energy does not conform to our present knowledge. look at the pickup coils of the Peter Markovich apparatus, 90 deg shift!

So does the vertical coil play a part? Is the Kacher a catcher??

              Food for thought?!

Any way, new materials hopfully arriving in the post this week. My present core made from two cast iron tubes gives a warm glow to a 40 watt 240 volt bulb showing at least a 60% underunity effect!!!!

Keep at it all, it IS going to happen!!!

              • I worked on this but was not able to finish. It should work, because of rules :

                - magnetic flux cannot be in two places in the same moment
                - the amount of power generated is not only dependent on field strength but also to the rate of change

Magnetic amplifier is the key to Floyd Sweet and SR devices.... and Steven Mark TPU of course... and many others...

I know I cannot be mistaken

                P.S. it's a solid state generator

                • Mk 3 Replication.

                  Well here we go again.

First of the parts arrived today, 10 shiny Ferrite rings.

Been out in the shed at minus 3 celcius winding the primary HV coil, nearly stuck to the lathe chuck!!!

                  HT PRI.JPG

Somehow my power transistors are in Liverpool, I live in N Wales, goodness knows what the postal system get's up to!!

I am going to use a complementory pair of TIP3055 and TIP 2095 to drive the Bias circuit, they should be able to handle the fairly high current I envisage being passed through the realatively low impeedance windings.

                  Will keep you posted.

                  • Mk 3 Replication. Initial progress/observation.

HV input is a little flyback transformer and beefed up power transistor from an old portable B/W television. It runs at a little over 16khz from memory.

First tests have been carried out with the primary coil in parallel with a 30 kv capacitor adjustable spark gap between them.(magnetic quench)

Secondary coil is 3 layer 1.5mm2 single insulated, 3 layers, 16 turns / layer. As per SR 103 schematic.

As per Mk2, a dull glow in a 40W 240 V incandessant light bulb is noted.

I replaced the mains bulb with a 12V 5 W fesstoon bulb. Quite a bright light is noted. But suggests insufficent turns for secondary voltage output.

I then tried changing the HV cap for a chain of 2Kv/cap capacitors and what a difference!! Blew out festoon bulb, warmer glow from 240 V bulb. Suggests dying HV cap (it wasn't cheap!!)

If anyone is interested, please ask, I will furnish full details of L and C, No of turns etc.

It is getting late now but once I had wound the primary coil I just couldn't wait to find out if it worked!!!

                    • Mk 3 Replication.

Hi All, I am wondering if this thread has been put to bed?

                      A question for all.

I feel that from all the schematics that are out there the one posted by Vidbid seems to embody all the aspects required.

                      58593543.jpg

                      The question,

I am about ready to wind the bias coils. We have studied and studied and feel that the pictorial representation is a two layer Bifilar. The only thing is are they wound in opposition to each other ? Is it the intention to concentrate the flux at the air gap between the Ferrite cores?

                      Any comments gratefully recieved.

                      Cheers, Graham.

                        Hi All,
Take a look at this Russian Patent. I have studied it long and hard. I think it might work. Yes there is an grave error at the bottom right, battery shorted!!

Can anyone see any other flaws?

                        Патент на изобретение №2386207

                        Cheers.

                        • not working ... yet

                          Hello all,

currently I am trying to replicate the SR193 device, that in my opinion is a normal transformer with HV applied to the cores, which should do some amplification effect. It can transform a 50hz sine wave to the secondary; you will see huge HV spikes when the sparc gap is in action, but no amplification effect.
4im06192010.jpg is the schematic I used.
Both coils do not overlap (like fabrice andre's) and in the description of 4im06192010.jpg
For the ferrits the material 3C90 was used.

Help is needed by someone , who replicated successfully, evt. write a PM.
