I believe the SR193 employes

• a fine wire coil for the HV, and
• a bucking coil for the output.

It saddens me to report this, but just a few moments ago while researching images of the SR193, I found the following image.

It appears that the ground cable may be touching a power cord.

It may prove useful to take a look at Ruslan Kulabuhov's work. Some of the videos I have been studying look very convincing and he tries his best to communicate how this device works, how to build it and how to tune it. With all the time, expensive and effort he has put into this, it is either real or a very elaborate, well funded hoax.
