Very interesting ideas. I especially like the pump design. My only suggestion would be to make the stroke of the pumps as short as possible. Energy is robbed exponentially from the pendulum with a linear increase in distance traveled vertically by the axis. Large diameter, short stroke pumps would work best IMO.
I like your hammer concept too. I think you would get even more power if your impact location was shifted 180 degrees to the bottom of the stroke, where your hammer velocity is the greatest.
I look forward to seeing these work once you've built them.

Thanks Ted for your positive words and inputs.
One prototype would give the best set up on angles, weights and dimensions.
I live in Angola, Africa, where we lack everything, ( we only have few hours of electric grid, most time run on diesel generators) and is impossible to make a prototype. I tried and fail a few times.
A friend did a simulation on algodoo, YouTube - double pendulum 2
But we couldn’t introduce the locks and ratchet essential for the functioning.
We shall promote the open source in computer simulations like “Solid Works” or “Working Model” to simulate ideas.
If someone gives his idea to an open source is because it needs improvements, more heads more ways, and that that gesture shows that he is not looking for a podium, but to help and participate.
I wish that someone will do a computer model of my proposals and find that is viable, and be rich with it. That means that people is benefiting from my ideas. I am participating with all my resources.
The picture attached is the combination of the Pendulum Water Pump and the Double pendulum hammer.
I believe that will work and that the mechanical driven oscillator of the double pendulum will pump the pendulum and transfer its weight from leg to leg, pressuring water or compressing air.
Help on “Working Model” is needed.

The way to build your device is with existing and easy to obtain parts. If you have manual pumps around, adapt your principals to those pumps. You could take a standard manual well pump and just clamp a pendulum on to the handle. It takes a little more thought and ingenuity, but you seem like a clever guy.
Even here in the states, where I can get just about any material or part I want, I try and adapt what I already have to my projects to keep expenses down.
With prototypes the easy part is thinking the idea up. The hard part is making it actually work. Nevertheless, making it work is where the important learning takes place.

My tries failed due to high friction and bad construction due to tooling and shop lack. Eventually, I will make a physical working prototype.
I am not sure if a forum of open source with the same concept as “Innocentive” will have participants.

With shared software and an open drawing project where everyone could add their view and input.
We may have a lot of new ideas computer modeled and ready to development.
I believe in human conscience and if the policy of the forum is to invite investors to finance final products, and request a percentage to be distributed to the active participants, the final customer, haply will pay the extra amount.
They already pay royalties to the patent older, and for manufacturers will be an quest of honor.
“Solid Works” or “Working Model” may participate supplying on line shared software.
It is just a thought!!
