Hi guys
I do a bit of DSP development using a system from a UK company Called Outsim, for creating music related software. One of the Devs of this software has shown me a new venture they are embarking on atm,Its a Visual programming and hardware development system for Robotics,Embedded Systems, Data acquisition, Electronics and all manner of cool things that i don't even understand yet lol and they have married up with a USA company some of you may already know of called Phidgets - ( i hadn't heard of them before this, is their stuff good?) and the software works with all their electronics gear
anyway the thing ain't available yet but here's a link the the site which is up atm with a free educational version of the software available right now!
DSP Robotics & FlowStone Graphical Programming Software
the software is called Flowstone!
does this look like a good system?
What do you guys think?
I am used to the software interface and way of working so i am kinda hoping that this would be a good way of learning electronics for me (I am a pure novice)
anyway thats all really, just thought this looks kinda cool and thought i would give ya all a heads up
Sending love from Scotland
Jay
