The below is an article by Ms. Jeane Manning (an author of renown in the F-E genre), reporting on the plane crash that killed the main officers of a start up company that was attempting to market a new electric motor of "very high efficiency". The company's name is US Highland Inc.

From the description, it would appear this motor has the potential to be a "game changer" for EV's; with claims of significantly higher efficiency. The trio were on their way back from meetings in Detroit, when the plane crashed near Tulsa, OK ; there were no survivors.

Here's my comment on this from the Free Energy Facebook Group "wall" post on this subject:
These deaths are indeed tragic. And when we consider just how many of them have happened over the years; the statistics would point to the fact that being an inventor or marketer of a "controversial alternative energy device", is by far many times more dangerous than any other profession.
One incident can be an "accident", but they all cannot be accidents, not by a long shot. Statistics cannot lie.
When the energy cartels are always the ones to benefit from such "accidents", where the deaths nearly ALWAYS end the further development of the invention.... The energy corps "hitting the super lottery" so to speak in terms of "luck", over and over again... One must question if the game is rigged.
We KNOW the game is rigged. Only it is no game. It is deadly serious. THESE ALTERNATIVE ENERGY - RELATED DEATHS MUST BE PROPERLY INVESTIGATED.
And remembered by us all. In the end, they CANNOT stop the inevitable, oil will "END" anyway. The tragedy for us all, is seeing good people who tried to benefit Humankind be murdered by sociopaths for no other reason than to delay the event.
This is one important reason why we urge inventors to consider the Open Source method. Once the information is openly published, there is no "reason" to be murdered, the horse is out of the barn already. And there are many ways to make money from your work besides direct licensing. What Open Source does, is insure the device CAN reach market. As we have seen over and over, those with blood on their hands will do whatever they can to stop lone inventors or start up companies... Because they think they can get away with it.
We will honor our dead; they are heroes in the "war" to bring sanity and sustainability to the Energy situation on this planet. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of martyred good people who tried to make a difference in this world.
We can take this outrage at the murders, at this evil... And use it. Use it to fulfill the work these people started. That is how we can honor them: By each of us helping to bring in a new dawn of clean, cheap, safe, and renewable ENERGY to our planet.... through spreading the word to friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers; by telling them There really are better ways to live, that there really are viable alternatives to coal and oil.
THAT IS HOW THESE DEATHS WILL BE GIVEN MEANING; and how we honor our fallen heroes.
