  • Ford presents its new Explorer as Eco Friendly

Ford has reveled it's new 2011 model of the Explorer,
Ford presents new eco friendly Explorer
calling it eco-friendly. supposedly the new model has an EcoBoost engine that will consume 20% less fuel than the last model.
Thank you Ford for the effort in reducing fuel consumption, but to me all this is nice Eco-PR. It might be a better investment and a much bolder step for Ford to introduce a fully electric car to the US market. another fuel consuming SUV doesn't really qualify as eco-friendly in my eyes, wouldn't you agree?

I hate reviving threads but but just a heads up to the poster. The ford explorer has been an extensive model since then and there were latest launched series which has added revenue to the auto maker. As respected by people, ford has now engaged advanced technologies to their vehicles such as SYC application etc.

      Pure B.s...watch

ALL U.S CAR MANUFACTURERS "SHOW" THEY ARE "DOING" IN INTEREST OF OUR BENEFIT, TO A "GREEN PLANET", BLA,BLA BLA....IS PURE B.S.

      Watch Video below...

No 75 Miles per gallon Cars allowed in the USA by TPTB, we build them and send them overseas! - YouTube

Economic reasons?!...Then what could We ALL expect...when bringing an Electric System to THEM...that would recharge by itself...a perfect self runner...One that the More You Accelerate ...the More it Blows Batteries FULL...til having to regulate so much power off...?!

We are trapped, We all have been trapped for One Hundred and thirty two years...and IF WE DO NOT BUILD THEM OURSELVES...NO ONE WILL!!

      Trust Me

        Nissan Leaf Reap Off...

        The Nissan Leaf...
        Have you driven one?
        Have you check them out?
        I HAVE DONE BOTH...

First they are only "Approved" at Four States out of the 50 we have...because of "Local Charging Stations"...development, so they are now "devoted" to just the States that are Breathing PURE Black Smoke"...
Second, You need to "PAY" the Electric Power Companies an "Specific HV 240V 30A Line" to your House...Then a "Licensed" Electrician must run cables to your Garage "Charging Station"...which is an "Extra Expense"...or additional $2000.00 to the $38,000.00 USD value of Vehicle...but we get a "generous" $7,000.00 "Tax rebate" from another fraud...the Internal Revenue...

        THE CAR...

The Nissan Leaf uses a Symmetric BLDC Motor...that such huge Controller's Box runs SO HOT (Poor MOSFET's)...That Several Aluminum Heat Sinks Fins...will NOT be enough...So in order to run at a High-But Better "decent" Temperature...the System requires a complete Water Cooling Assembly...That comprehends ...A Radiator, type V8 Gas Engine requires...A Water Pump-Motor Assy (also Symmetric of course)...plus Dual Cooling Fan's Motors...(Also Symmetrical reap off)...

        THE BATTERY PACK...
The whole floor of the vehicle...is full of Lithium Polymers (Eon) Batteries...that have Five Year warranty...and cost?...a modic price of 15,000 USD...

        Then what do we get?
100 to 150 miles per recharge...of 10 to 11 hours...Oh!...I forgot!...If you want the "Super Fast Charger" (around three hours) is also available...but think to disburse a good double the amount invested in Charging Stations...

The Electric Power Companies, were there at the Testing...waiting to make a "Sale" of His big "investment"...since the Primary Large Sum dedicated to Charging Stations...is not all...but you will have to figure out...to be paying a monthly consequent billing , estimated what it will cost to keep a Swimming Pool Electrical Heater System running full time all year long...

EPA is still "evaluating" such systems...since they find it better an more economical-efficient to drive a CTS Cadillac with a North Star 32 Valve V8...

Great "Hopes" for the "Green Car Industry"...Oh Yeah...
