    Thats what I am trying to do. It seems it will work pretty well if I can get past a certain speed.
    If Milkovic is correct I should get a very high COP from the thing. Thats if it won't shake itself apart.

      It would do about 5 amps charging a 12 volt battery at around 100 rpm. It was set up to drive 4 of them but I only installed 2 for testing. Each one has about a 4 inch stroke. The coil/weight move extreemly fast because of the forces involved, the coils could have been wound with larger wire to help load it a little better as these don't create much of a resistance for the unit.

          Thanks. I was trying to get an idea of how fast I am going to need to go. I can get about 500 out of it when it acts right.
