I found this site today that makes and sells all manner of Tesla gadgetry and many high voltage scientific apparatus! everything from magnets to ion ray guns! Information Unlimited - Science Projects, Electronics Kits, Lasers, Tesla Coils, High Voltage Engineering, Plans, Books, Parts, Kits

They are in the USA so i an going to see if they will ship to the uk

Why oh why don't we have ppl like this in the UK?

I've bought 2 things from them and was completely satisfied (also shipped to the uk)

a 25KV power supply that runs on a 12V battery
and a big tesla coil kit

My one criticism is the tesla coil plans - they are very confusing, and the circuit diagram shows the tesla secondary going to mains ground, and not earth ground. This caused my tesla coil to trip the fuse box every time i turned it on, until i found a decent website where the circuit showed EARTH GROUND NOT MAINS!!! in big capital letters. Good old internet.
