  • Will this work?

I imagine the wheel to be charged by the outer ring magnets.

If the wheel spins at 4500 rpm, you have 8 sensors spread out (where the magnetic fields would be present) and you write a formula that expresses the most optimal charge and acceleration. Then you simply run a simple 0 and 1 on and off sequence to the desired location. All + / - on wheel, or All - / + on wheel, etc.

    any ideas?

    More info please

I think we need more info, such as what are the ring magnets you speak of, what is the spiral reddish brown section labeled (+), the black section labeled (-) and the grey area between the black and the center hub?

Additionally, what is the boundary between those (+) and (-) sections comprised of.

Where are the sensors you speak of?

What is the hub consisting of?

Are there wires involved? How are they arranged?

When you say the wheel is 'charged' do you imply that there is an inductor or a capacitor there to be charged or some other means?

    Thanx
