  • Looking for DC Magneto plans

    Hello
    As in the title I`m looking for the plans of DC magnetos of any kind ( how it works plus how it`s build how they were attached in the ignition and in what kinds of ignitions they were used,schemes) I need it to my project in schhol and I want to understand how they behave and what`s the difference between an AC magnetos.Any kind of info will be good advise explanations or filles because in internet I couldn`t find anything what describes these machines.
    Sorry for my english if I have made mistakes.
    I will be grateful for any help.

    Sorry for offtopic but i need this info for joe cell research.

    Try looking at online Manuals for outboard motors, i had one once but can't find it

            Hi Gyula

            No, it works OK for me. As old motor bikes have magnetos thought I would google and find a magneto page for Tarassio.

              Thank you for trying to help. But i must say that there is real difference beetween DC and AC magnetos. DC magneto can fire fuel with just one wire and it do not kick when touch hot wire by hand. That is interesting
              These magnetos were used in old cars in years 1900-1930.
              AC magneto construction can be found on wikipedia and this is not the same.
