When you say no power do the oscillation die or just too small?
That is the first time I heard such method work . Congratulation .You still don't use the combined one yet . If you use three potentiometer, you have more reason to get busy too .
When two stingo combined, touching a point can make the circuit output double, touching other make it back half again. Changing one circuit potentiometer will change other circuit frequency, and the most fun part is when the output current drift from time to time that make measuring with single meter produce invalid result if you don't double check it ....

My first experience winding one involved lots of cursing. At least I'll turn on the TV so no one hears that
see how i looked like, and how i cursed while i was wounding that toroid
i think that would have been great consolation for you...But, as i said :
It is not fun at all, especially concerning differences between american and
croatian way of cursing...When i curse i really very sorry that i am croatian...
REALLY !!! It is not joke at all !!!...But, when i have read that your curse
too, beside other similarity that i already wrote about, i just could not
resist my temptation to answer you again...
I've got more posts I want to respond to, just out of time for the moment...Cheers
just do not understand croatian humor...There is no such thing
indeed (croatian humor), but croatian way of cursing unfortunately exist...
Now i remember how Edison answered to Teslas demand to pay him what
he promised after Tesla repaired some complicated machine ...Edison answer
was : Tesla, you just dont understand american humor...But that was
important turning point in Tesla life, and after more then 100 years, our lives
too...If this dialog (between you and me) become a cause some new
electrical revolution then it worth me to endure your revenge...But i am
affraid a little bit of not be able to understand american humor...Never mind,
humor is humor and it is welcome in every moment and in greatest amount,
especially after whole day cursing..."There is no love without prayer - there is no prayer without forgiveness because love is prayer - forgiveness is love." I got it out of a computer power supply. The oscillations do not die and look fantastic in every way, it's just that I can't see any more power coming out of the standard output points you designate in your circuit, nor any other combination of transformer terminals, other than the 30 or so volts I see in the signal coming off the PNP base. It looked really promising. I even got the HV shorted to what I believe was the secondary, and the oscillations still ran, but at twice the frequency. I think I got it oscillating around 28kHz.
Edit: I just try to wound some simple coil with it and I can't even make the stingo oscillating.
Before I start to wound my self I use the toroid one and connect all the wire in series.

Then it disappeared and the best I could do after that with all my 'knob twiddling' (the scientific art for any Stingo technician to learn), was 60V and that's what I ended up charging with.

I have been using stingo to reduce something that I believe related to anger, stress or lack of sleep. I suggest you try sleeping aid implementation of stingo. I believe it can let you sleep better and some more good benefit. You just need a working stingo and a bucket of water:

With same output current better radiant will charge cooler. However, pure radiant is not good for battery, so that is why I recommend the one with cap isolated FWBR.
Neon bulb may not be a good indicator because we may not notice the difference in video and brightness can be really subjective.
Change of color may be more objective. Although it usually hard to see in camera. Can you make the neon bulb turn purple?
Mine can but unfortunately my webcam can not show it because it only change a little.
Just to show that neon can lit purple:
YouTube - Purple flashing show off
This bellow done with spark on primary I recall, don't replicate near any electronics.
YouTube - Continuous purple with HV DC and capacitor discharge
Originally posted by 7imix View PostYes, sometimes I have observed the motor running but the stingo is not oscillating, and there is just flat DC (not pulsed) at the radiant output. Yes, I think the NPN just stays on, and gets very hot. I will try to investigate more and report. I think I have seen this the most when trying to run brushed DC motors.Last edited by sucahyo; 10-30-2010, 02:43 AM.

No offense on my part. Please do not be offended by my style either. If I found your posts inappropriate, it is true, I would not even acknowledge your existence. This I think is the best policy in such situations. But I was being humorous too when I said I felt your pain. I do enjoy your croatian humor, though it's my first taste of such. Your posts have been on subject and interesting.
It reminds me to convey to all of you who have participated, especially to those who have taken the trouble to share your work, post pics and videos, to please not be offended or mistaken about my interest level if I don't instantly reward you with verbose feedback. It's just not my style. I'm a minimalist when it comes to these threads because part of why I am involved is for sharing and recording information for everyone else. So I take my time in carefully absorbing what's posted and try to keep questions I post to a minimum, by trying to answer my own questions first. I want the thread to be easy to read through for others later. This is not a criticism of anyone Else's style, however.
And lately, I truly have been busy and occupied, so have to break up my responses for when I have opportunities. I think the thread activity here is great, though, so please don't slow down the posts for my sake.
Cheers

Sorry, I don't have that.
it in experiment with toroid (cursing one) with 23 awg, and results are much
better with 23 awg, not to mention lack of space inside the toroid if you use
fatter wire, and there are some other disadvantages of putting fatter wire than
23 awg...

I am very glad to know that...I can not thank you enough for your stingo...
I am in love with your stingo, more and more...
Godfrey is a great guy, i can see that now, i was afraid of being misunderstood, but he is not like me just in cursing (which is not good),
but he got very healthy sense for humor, and that is very important if
you want to be mentally healthy person, am i right or not ?
Ok, Cikljamas, now I have time to laugh

i say that !
Concerning our bad habit of cursing, i tried even with that :

First time build
@Sucahyo and all here
Hi,
I've been following this thread with much interest and I finally built my first Stingo last night. I used the basic setup and I'm getting 50 Volt +-5V from 3 volts at 250 ma. I started a battery charge this morning and will post my results. Thanks Sucahyo for the circuit and a thank you to all here who have been experimenting with it.

I am now trying to cramp another wound into my recent toroid. It can be two implementation, two stingo sharing single core but separate winding :
- with single source and sinlge output to give combined unpredictable result ...
- with different source and charging each other to see if it can self sustain.

I really hope my circuit will only give healthy effect for everyone. I have been using my stingo as sleeping aid for weeks. So if you have problem with sleep, or any ill feel, I suggest everyone to try it.

I show how 3V can charge 12V battery just to illustrate the source flexibility. If you have better source with higher voltage, don't hesitate to use it. But make sure to leave at least 100 ohm resistance for the PNP base to prevent breaking it.
If we have some energy source with very fluctuative voltage we can make sure it will continue charging if use use radiant charger. Stingo just happen to has wider working source voltage range than any 555 version. So we can just put it between battery bank and solar / wind / hydro generator and no matter what the input source voltage is we can sure it still charging. That is my reason to post 3V charge 12V and 12V charge 3V.

3V Stingo Applications
Originally posted by CikljamasYes, i already put that question, but i didnt get answer, it is about varied

I just moved my 3V Stingo from breadboard to finished PCB. Ah, what a nice feeling, hearing it sing the very first flick of the switch! I’ll take it as a little reward for all my Stingo trials and tribs lately
I’m expecting some time I’ll find the right coil and get some nice COP payback with battery charging and my bigger, 12V - TIP2095/TIP3055 Stingo. Meanwhile...I’m already using this 3V Stingo in an application every day, so even if I never achieve COP >1, it wouldn't matter to me, because the Stingo is already a fantastic Orgone generator. As soon as I finished my new Stingo I hooked it up to my bed to enjoy a nice refreshing nap! I have 3 output terminals. The first is radiant positive the second radiant negative, the third is radiant negative rectified by a diode. The sleeper circuit uses the 1st and 3rd for output. But there are health applications mentioned by Sucahyo elsewhere which I intend to experiment with using the 1st and 2nd terminals. Enough said for now.
So how’s that, Cikljamas, for ‘interesting implementations of stingo’?
BTW, I have charged a single AAA alkaline battery (that’s right – “non-rechargeable!”) from 1.0V up to 1.4+V (charged up to 1.5+, but drifted back down later, after removal from charger) with the 3V Stingo circuit. It took 5 hours and did run down the source batteries a bit, but it was still an informative exercise worth doing
