Wind turbine is a rotary device that extracts energy from the wind. Wind turbines comes in many shapes and sizes. Normally there are two basic types pf wind turbine horizontal and vertical wind turbine. A shaft is connected to the wind turbine which rotates with the help of wind which in turn connected to the motor, energy generated is converted into electricity with the help of the motor. I have a problem with wind energy as it is "rolled out" in the Netherlands.

They build very expensive off-shore parks. Where we as "people" can buy green energy from.

For me it's the same "show" with the same companies getting the government and EU subsidizing, and charging and taxing the people for their power demands.

My problem is that it will not make energy cheaper and everyone is still depended on TPTB.

I want personalized power (solar, wind, ???) and any excessive power could be (if you want) be transferred back to the grid.

If there is a failure somewhere, it will influence less people and it will be cheaper at the end, you will be your own power supplier.

I do think they do not want that, they like you to be depended and they like to be able to control the switches when they want too.

Although it is possible, solar panels , wind turbines etc to put on your roof or garden, it is not that simple in the Netherlands. You have to get permitts for doing so and they do not grand them easily. But one or two individuals is not enough, they should design the entire national power supply to a personalized system.

I guess government interests are not civilian interests ..
