  • Pendulum generator

    hi all
i have tried Pendulum to generate electric

i used 1hp motor 1450 rpm connected to gearbox 1:16 so the output about 85 rpm......other side 1kw wind turbine with 500 rpm connected to gearbox 1:10 for increasing the speed

test 1 with no weight attached with Pendulum ( load 1kw)

    YouTube - free electric..Test 1

test 2 with 5 kg attached with Pendulum ( load 1 kw)

    YouTube - free electric..Test 2

now if i tried push the Pendulum from Edge will need less torque..but what about speed? do i need more speed?

      Hi egyptian inventor,

Just erect the wind turbine-part and forget the rest. Your proposal is like running an electric motor off of a solar panel then driving a generator off of the electric motor and finally using the power from the generator.

Assuming a 90% efficiency for the electric motor and a 90% efficiency for the generator, you will only get 81% of the solar panel's full output ! Does that make any sense ?
