Hi cycleman,

I view all of these 'alternate flux path' devices as continuations and take offs of the Floyd Sweet VTA. Even though it does not appear to be a similar principle, this all started with Sweet. Bearden's MEG is similar too and in my view inspired solely by Sweet's VTA (Vacuum Triode forgot "A" ... Amplifier maybe).

If it were COP 5, then these guys would either be dead or in a gulag or factories and home would be installing them.

understand how come all these stuffs are out there, and we are not
able to replicate them, or we are able but someone or many of them
are continuously hiding crucial information from wider community ?

Is there anyone who will tell us the real truth about this ?

And after that it remains just one more question : WHY ?

Hi guys, i am jealous of your forward steps (a little bit), and i have to
ask you 7imix, what are the chances for you and me to make any
progress with this project using your ghetto toroid ?

In two hours these two AA batteries depleted for guess how much mV ?
For four mVolts !

Absolutely, we will make progress with toy toroids. I believe very strongly that it is important not only to attempt exact replications, but to follow our own intuitions when it comes to doing experiments. If you have an idea of something to try, try it. Try to predict what you are going to see when you run the experiment. Then run the experiment, and compare what actually happened with your prediction. Failed experiments can be the most valuable experiments of all, because they can show us where our assumptions are wrong!

I would love to do an exact replication of this project, and someday I hope to, but I don't even have enough money to pay the bills this month much less buy the toroid and board. In the meantime, I believe I can really learn a lot by messing with other things that are similar.

There really is a very simple reason there are so many different names and we still don't have a working device yet. It's hard.

Also, we have no language to describe the phenomena. What is taught in school doesn't allow for what we are looking for, so it's difficult for different inventors to communicate about their discoveries. Every single one of the inventors you mention has a different language and way of thinking about their device.

The margin of error between having a working device and a nonworking device is very very small, and without adequate measurement tools for the phenomena we are trying to generate, tuning becomes very difficult. All three parameters, capacitance, inductance, and resistance, must be exactly balanced against each other. The range of possible values for each is huge and the working range is tiny in comparison. Extremely high quality adjustable inductors and capacitors are not widely available.

So, I say to you again, stop getting angry and start getting determined. Anger about the hundreds of inventors and suppressed devices from the past helps nothing in the present; it is the past. In the present we apply our will and determination to whatever experiment or research is in front of us and slowly we approach our goal, which is understanding. The journey can be extremely enjoyable!

Regarding your words, you are right, and i know that you know that

The two ghetto toroid videos in my youtube channel are the experiments I did with it. I also did an interesting experiment with it using a stingo driver, but I'll have to work on that a bit more before sharing it. I have been working on the driver circuits and not doing as much actual experimentation lately. I've also been working my day job more frequently lately so I don't have as much time as I would like to experiment.

The constructions definitely look interesting, but I have no opinion on the validity of the claims. If you are interested, build it -- you'll learn something whether it works or not!

G'day WTP, That meter looks ok, nice price too. Thanks for posting that. Looks very similar to the one I got, looks like mine has one more setting a 2mH but I would have got one like the one you posted for that price.

Mine came of course, and it seems to work good. Did I tell you Gmeast I measured the secondary winding and it read 1.58 Henries. Seems a lot. Sweet. Anyway so your's will be much the same. I hope to get to finish the waxing and taping tonight, I'll post a picture after I finish polishing the wax. Maybe, Hopefully i'll remember.

Have you acquired an oscilloscope yet? If not, you must try and get one and learn to use it. This will also help to ease your frustrations ... really.

Please keep another thing in mind too. It is hard to measure 'pulsed' energy and power with the voltage meters and clamp-on current meters available. These are manufactured for measuring D.C. voltages and currents and A.C. voltages and currents at 50/60 Hz. When a 'pulsing' circuit is drawing current from a battery, it is actually detecting a 'pulsing' voltage drop across a shunt. The induction-type clamp-on's still must measure a 'pulsing' component, and is NOT accurate for our work. You must have an oscilloscope to make some of the measurements, and then longitudinal energy can also 'trick' a scope.

So, there are two possible conclusions for this. One of them is that your results are not as good as you measured, and the other is that your results are actually better better than you measured. In the first case you are disillusioned and fooling yourself, and in the second case, you may have achieved COP>1 and may NOT even know it!

So measurement tools and methods are lacking in this field as is a common language as 7imix has pointed out.

Keep pluggin' along though.

done with stage 1: photo essay2

Hi everybody,

Okay now, I'm done with stage 1 ... that is to say I finished waxing the secondary/core and taped it up ... whew!

I did not wrap over the wax with vinyl electrical tape because my coupling is already compromised by the the secondary's too-thick insulation.

I went directly to the spec mylar tape. Why on god's earth anyone would do this wrapping operation with 2" tape is beyond me! I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on the 1" tape.

My tape spool is part of the plastic aspirin bottle I emptied on the headaches this thing's given me.
